  1. It's Zinger Tower Burger right? *ding ding ding*
  2. You Zing'd Speed. So he had been ....? :cheeky:
  3. Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

  4. I think with Forza especially a number are getting wise to the wait for the full cut price release within a year that always comes out now. Ok you may be late to the party but you can be sure there will be plenty of people old and new to race once you get on.
  5. Yeah but you did say you were going to change your avatar to a summer or easter one at Christmas anyway.
  6. Hey guys, just a heads-up that on Friday the 18th November we will be resetting everyone's avatar so be sure to back-up or save your current avatar if you wish to keep it as you can upload it again after the reset. The reason for doing this is because when we upgraded to vB4 all the avatars didn't come across successfully for some reason, and even after manually attempting to copy the files and the database info the issue has not been remedied so a full clean sweep is the last option and the best one at that. So again if you want to keep your avatar you have just now then save it before the reset otherwise you may lose it. Also those of you without an avatar will be shown with a Default 'No Avatar Avatar' as some things we are testing require members have an avatar otherwise things get out of place and messy. Anyway you have your notice so do what you got to do! :D Regards TDU Central Team
  7. As you can see I've started creating the sections and moving some threads around. Once things start to show I'll have a better idea of what needs added, subtracted and divided by 0. Suggestions are welcome also, I'll only ban you for a short time if you disagree with me.
  8. Hey there, here we are with TDU modding a real reality and with everyday that's passing modders are getting their hands into even more spaces and areas where they couldn't but thankfully are. Before you delve right in and start downloading and trying to install and then coming back here and crying or shouting at the mod author there are a few things you should remember. 1) Always BACKUP any files you may be changing or overwriting, so that if something does go wrong reverting back to a working situation is at least somewhat possible. This may not always be the case though and remember that modding is usually hassle free but that doesn't mean there isn't instances where things go wrong so be prepared for a reinstall if possible. 2) Mods for the most part should be enjoyed offline only, but due to a large part of the greatness of TDU being the online aspect it's understandable some or many of you may wish to do so, just be aware that the server might not want you on it due to some mods you use. 3) You are not allowed to sell Modifications that are not of your own full creation; any Intellectual Property rights you do not have permission to use cannot be used for commercial purposes and all modifications posted are merely for PERSONAL USE only. 4) DO NOT ASK for files from the TDU Installer or any files that come with TDU once installed, if you forgot to backup then that's your problem unfortunately! 5) turboduck, it's owner and/or it's Staff is not liable for any damage or loss of income or expense that may be experienced by your use of the Mods you find on our forums or downloaded via our members and their links; YOU USE THESE PROGRAMS AND MODIFICATIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Modding is great for pro-longing the life and improving a title way beyond it's original, and let's face it with a title such as TDU2 that's not going to be hard. :D Ready to go? Ok, start by checking out the Tutorials and Installation Guides thread FIRST!
  9. Hey there, here we are then TDU2 modding becoming a real reality and with everyday that's passing modders are getting their hands into even more spaces and areas where they shouldn't but thankfully are. This may not always be the case though and remember that modding is usually hassle free but that doesn't mean there isn't instances where things go wrong so be prepared for a reinstall if possible. 2) Bear (not grizzly kind!) in mind that any file changes may be detected by the game or server and a prompt pertaining to this or getting kicked off the TDU2 server may occur. Mods for the most part should be enjoyed offline only, but due to a large part of the greatness of TDU2 being the online aspect it's understandable some or many of you may wish to do so, just be aware that the server might not want you on it due to some mods you use. 3) You are not allowed to sell Modifications that are not of your own full creation; any Intellectual Property rights you do not have permission to use cannot be used for commercial purposes and all modifications posted are merely for PERSONAL USE only. 4) DO NOT ASK for files from the TDU2 Installer or any files that come with TDU2 once installed, if you forgot to backup then that's your problem unfortunately! 10. Fair point but also remember that many games now have bonuses for pre-ordering and even though some are a waste, there are others that are damn nice like BF3's FREE B2K Pack when it comes out in December. Hell yeah!
  11. I don't think that getting it 2-3 days early should be punishable at all and if you get it even earlier say when the US gets it then fair beans. I hate the fact that Activision thought it fair to basically hunt and threaten people who legitimately got the game early through no fault of their own as to be honest the game is out about 2 weeks before release to make it's way through the distribution and someone in that line of work is always going to get it before everyone else so should they be punished for it? HELL NO! Now if this person uploads a rip or downloads an illegal copy then fair enough take them to the cleaners but if your local game shop sells it to help stay afloat and beat the big players by a day or 2 then so be it. We're almost at a stage now where everything we do is controlled by those who should have literally no say in how we do these things should we come across these items and games legitimately through no fault of our own. Also most online retailers have to send their stuff out 2-3 days before release to guarantee release date delivery, should they only be allowed to send out on release day then business will tank.
  12. Do as the title says and also comment on the videos if you like what you saw. :D Simpheels! 7mins 48secs of Noshahr Canals Rush
  13. The default Squad only Chat I think is partly down to the lack of teamwork. Hardly anyone talks.
  14. Yeah I've seen people mention this but it doesn't stop the whole ermm ....reversing or going forward to avoid the drop. lol
  15. SWEEEETTT you've lowered the tunnels so they lob the roofs off cars! Very creative! :D
  16. Well that's not strictly true, there is a Mod who no longer wishes to be a Mod, there is another Mod who can't be bothered with helping out a company that doesn't give anything back, there is an Admin who is never there, there is a Community Rep who can only post what they're told, there is a sub-contracted muppet(s) (not Meixy!) who posts maintenance updates that a simple enable of the vB RSS function would do instead... much quicker too. And finally there is Gramps, a man so cool and full of epic awesome that I wonder why he visits that place when his life is full of grandiose greatness and doesn't need to bother with the amateurs of Atari. Oh I forgot the PR manager who..... well.... you know.
  17. Indeed, that is OUTERCORESTANDING!
  18. Of course it's going to be sort of fun but it may not be the type of fun people who play BF3 want. Myself for example would rather have a team based game where communication and teamwork is necessity like Rainbow Six than the run and gun lonewolf standard of the MW series. And I know for sure that BF3 will tide me over until the new R6 comes in 2013. :D I do wish BF3 had more destruction and also one hit kills for vehicles via tanks and such though as well as more danger like 1943 with the planes and such as in that game if you even clipped a leaf of a tree it was BOOM! :D Just ask Mellors about telegraph poles.
  19. There's nothing to say they couldn't bring it back though, however given the time that's passed, the fact it's Atari and well the fact it's Atari it's hard to say if anything will ever happen anyway. You're right though this game should have been a license to print money for Atari.
  20. Sweet, I remember reading about this a while ago and it was slated for a 2012 release so good to see more new info again. Just hope it sticks to the R6 formula and doesn't go after the CoD Fish. Ok so link above says 2013. Damn it will never come then as the world is ending in December next year. Nuts!
  21. Ok since this is starting to get interesting I'm going to open the TDU2 Mod Shop and create the sections as and when you guys need them. Great work guys, series us lee. :cheeky:
