  1. That NIKE car was amazing in though I would not want to have a crash in thing as it would mean instant death! Ah cool that GT6 [logo] box I can use as the forum icon now.
  2. I like the idea of the Undercover cop to be honest, going to keep an eye on this game and see where it goes.
  3. Damn it man that is incredibly good looking, any shots of the rear of the car and side profile?
  4. Great looking, amazing detail but don't forget an important thing....... WHAT ABOUT THE SOUND?!!
  5. Sony have just announced at their gamescom even that the PlayStation 4 (PS4) will be out in November, starting from the 15th for North America and two weeks later from the 29th for Europe. http://turboduck.net/img/misc/ps4.jpg[/img] Many interesting things and a sly wee dig at Microsoft were also included but this was the news most people wanted from this event.... except for The Last Guardian of course.
  6. Just a short while ago at the Microsoft conference at gamescom it was announced that Spa will finally after so long of asking, be coming to the Forza series via Forza Motorsport 5. Along with this it was revealed that the track has been laser scanned and so have others that have been revised for the game. A new demo will be available to play at gamescom which will contain Laguna Seca and the new physics engine also so heres looking forward to more impressions and media to come. :) ========================= As we announced last week, “Forza Motorsport 5” will be playable at gamescom this year! In addition to giving thousands of fans the chance to play the game for the first time, we also have a ton of news about “Forza Motorsport 5”, including the announcement of two tracks that will be featured in the game: the return of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and, brand new to the Forza series, Spa-Francorchamps! The addition of Spa-Francorchamps to “Forza Motorsport 5” will surely be music to Forza fans’ ears. Nestled in the Ardennes countryside of Belgium, the 4.3-mile Spa track is home to legendary corners like “La Source” and “Eau Rouge” and has been one of the most requested tracks from fans since the Forza series’ beginning. Laser-scanned and meticulously recreated at 1080p and 60fps, Spa makes its franchise debut in “Forza Motorsport 5”. We’ll have more on Spa, including screenshots of the track in the future, so stay tuned! http://compass.xboxlive.com/assets/99/51/9951b54c-a8c0-4e7c-ad08-81cf53292d42.jpg?n=FM5_Gamescom_Audi_Laguna_1.jpg[/img] Located in central California, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca has become an iconic location in American racing and is home to the illustrious “Corkscrew” curve. Famous for its staggering drop in elevation, Laguna Seca is known for its busy racing calendar, including the American Le Mans Series as well as the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, which took place last weekend as part of the Monterey Peninsula’s annual Classic Car Week. This week, gamescom attendees will have the chance to take a lap of Laguna Seca in the playable build of Forza Motorsport 5 found at the Xbox booth. Gamescom attendees will be among the first players in the world to test drive the new physics engine that is at the heart of the “Forza Motorsport 5” gameplay experience. For “Forza Motorsport 5”, the developers at Turn 10 Studios worked closely with their partners at Calspan – the leading tire testing organization in the world – to develop a completely new and unique set of tire data, including tests and parameters that have never before been utilized in racing games. “Developing and improving the driving physics has, in many ways, become the central pursuit for the Forza Motorsport series,” said Forza Motorsport 5 creative director Dan Greenawalt. “We are always chasing that perfect simulation where we can accurately recreate the infinite variables of driving in the digital world. At the same time, that pursuit is always tempered by the limits of what we know about the science of vehicle dynamics and the properties of high performance materials. http://compass.xboxlive.com/assets/90/72/907228b8-746a-43a6-87f3-4450f8e89b97.jpg?n=FM5_Gamescom_Audi_Laguna_2.jpg[/img] “For Forza Motorsport 5, we have an incredibly powerful console at our disposal in the Xbox One. To make the most of that power, we had to collect data on tire variables that have never been isolated – to refactor our understanding of tire technology through the lens of a much more powerful console; one that could handle the increasingly complex formulae of heat, slip and weight transfer that our increased understanding demands. Thanks to the power of the Xbox One and our Calspan partnership, we are implementing truly cutting edge scientific understanding of tire physics, suspension geometry, and aerodynamics – we’re not implementing the recommendations of last year’s text books, we’re running the tests that will write the vehicle dynamics text books of the next several years.” As the link between the player, the car, tires are the crucial key to the “Forza Motorsport 5” driving experience. By using state-of-the-art Calspan data, the driving model in “Forza Motorsport 5” has been developed with the most current and realistic tire data to be found in the world. For the player, this means a new level of depth and control to be found in all the cars in the game, and a new level of immersion and challenge each time they play the game. Via forzamotorsport.net

  10. Huge Birthday Greetings to Speeder, who is one of the most active and helpful members around not just this community but others in the past. A true asset to wherever he crashes into and one we are glad to have had with us for a good while. I hope you had a great day mate, sorry for the slight lateness of saying so. Do you forgive us? :bparty:
  11. Forza is a reason to get a Microsoft console just like Gran Turismo is a reason to get a Sony one, but I haven't liked where Forza has been heading after FM2 and the whole DLC milking with FM3 meant I never even wanted to pick-up Forza 4. I picked up Horizon of course and I did enjoy it but again the whole DLC plan was just a gouge and I am now very weary of picking up anything of this franchise. Perhaps 2-3 years down the line who knows, I might bite but I'm not feeling the need or desire to even want this game.
  12. Is that a Z-tune? I remember that car from PGR3 days.
  13. In this thread you post a combatant to the previous GIF. Keep things according to the rules and the funnier/stupider the better. Right to start off I deal you Pizza Eating Cat!! To stop the same people fighting each other there has to be be 2 others between your post before you can post again. http://i.imgur.com/cu2g7mN.gif[/img]
  14. Djey is going to wonder what the hell is going on in his thread when he comes back.
  15. Not bad, sounds a bit high-strung at parts but it definitely has the LFA's flavour amongst it. Nice work!
  16. Note the Forza 4 DLC too, I've been reading a number of comments about the "upset" fans have about this.
  17. I thought we had a thread for this sort of thing but I guess we don't... well we do now but you know what I mean. No matter, this thread will be used to inform you muppets about stuff going on, stuff we don't know about and explaining why that thing happened before that shouldn't have. Got that? Ok good. :duck: Latest Updates at the top. 2017 2017-03-03: 'Recent' navigation tab will now display different activity depending on where it is accessed from: main forum areas will list all non-Mod Shop activity whereas viewing from inside the 'Mods' section will show all 'Mod Shop' activity instead.
