1. For all that Forza as a series improves upon it does appear that the Drivatar aspect is an area that gets a lot said about it, usually negative. You would think with the more data and research being collected and conducted that it could only get better, however in saying that. it does emulate the styles and behaviour of real players, right? So maybe it is actually working perfectly. :cheeky:

Hi there sami, nice to have you with us here on the :duck:.
3. Save BIG On Racing Games On the Humble Store right now, and for only a very limited time, is the chance to grab some of the best racing games available at the moment at knock-down prices! The amazing Assetto Corsa has a huge 60% off, the phenomenal DiRT Rally is down a massive 75%, another Codemasters game, DiRT 4, is half-price, along with a selection of other quality simulation, arcade and simcade titles. It’s not just the big names either, more focused titles such as Motorsport Manager, SPINTIRES, BeamNG.drive, Road Rash-esque Road Redemption, Trackmania Turbo, fun little racer Table Top Racing World Tour, and more are all in this Racing Sale’s line up. There's big reductions for some of the additional content and expansions too, with owners of The Crew being able to snap up the Season Pass, Calling All Units expansion, and individual car packs at a great price. Don’t already have the main game? Well that, in standard and Ultimate Edition, is there too. So what you waiting for?! Go get yourself something racy right now!
4. Very nice pics mau. From the outside looking in this car pack looks like a good one. How are you finding it and have you got any favourites already? :D
5. Yep. Those are some nice trees. If treecam is in then that's going to looks blooming nice. :p
6. Added official Racelogic video to the OP. It's nuts how much slower 200 mph looks as he's coasting along.
7. I respect the engineering and the speed the fat Bug can hit. These cars are two different beasts but that doesn't make their accomplishments any less deserving.
8. I am in awe to see what @Penfold is up to these days and who he is working for but my gosh has he earned it. And it was obvious that his talent was going to take him places. Even if that ticket was bought by himself. :p This piece by Top Gear is all about how a squadron of super-rare McLaren cars were taken on tour by their private owners. Plenty of shots of the F1 in various guises available to view along with a few of the modern-day P1 too. The images are what make the whole thing, so many excellent shots.
In total, there were 69 ‘standard’ road cars (five of which were prototypes), 28 race cars (some of which have since been made road legal), three F1 GTs (the stunning road-legal ‘Longtail’), and five F1 LMs (those Papaya Orange road-racers built in honour of the five F1 GTRs that finished the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans). A selection of which recently got together for a private owners’ tour. There was one modern McLaren that joined the party, mind. One that’s already set to be a future classic: the junior offspring of the F1 LM, the mighty P1 LM.
I just wish there was some video too! 9. Not content with taking the Bugatti Chiron's 0-249mph-0 accolade a few months ago, the same customer car that did that has only gone and unleashed itself along an 11-mile stretch closed public highway in the USA in the capable hands of factory test driver Niklas Lilja and reached 284.55 mph in one direction, aided in the fact it's slightly downhill and the was wind behind them. Those of you who know how these things work know that blasting down just the one way is not how a record is made and so on the journey back, this time running uphill and against the wind, the 'Egg managed to only do 271.9 mph, giving an average speed of 277.9 mph (444.6 km/h). Still, not too shabby that. :cheeky: It seems the race to 300 is well and truly on! Koenigsegg has smashed the world's fastest car record | Top Gear
10. Forza Motorsport 7 Samsung QLED Car Pack The first monthly car pack for Forza Motorsport 7 has been unveiled, featuring a bevy of new-to-Forza vehicles. Pairing up with Samsung, who are in bed with Microsoft for the promotion of their 4K TVs aside the Xbox One X, the opening DLC which will release on November 7th, delivers a generous helping of the road-going and historic racing variety, accompanied by – in my opinion – a side plate of WTH! Starting with those that you would find on the road and wouldn’t mind throwing about a track is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Abarth 124 Spider. Both aimed at completely different areas but each providing their own fantastic experiences for whomever is driving. Racing stalwarts have a bit of choice to make in regards to the heritage they decide between next, with a Maserati 250F, Porsche 935/78 ‘Moby Dick’ and a Nissan Bluebird Super Silhouette all included, and ready to show those looking for a taste of the genuine article, just how vicious and intimidating, they were. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="7415,7417,7416] Forza Motorsport 7 – Samsung QLED Car Pack 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2017 Abarth 124 Spider 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 2015 Honda Ridgeline Baja Trophy Truck 1984 Nissan #20 Coca-Cola Bluebird Super Silhouette 1978 Porsche #78 MOMO 935/78 1957 Maserati 250F Lastly, there are two monster off-roaders. Yeah, I’m not sure why either, but the trailer promotes some manufactured fun that can be had with them through the exploring of off-track sections on some circuits, and perhaps racing them together will produce some interesting moments also. In a title like Forza 7 though, they just seem that bit out of place. No doubt they will prove a hit in the other ‘fun’ modes, so maybe that warrants their inclusion after all. The Samsung QLED Car Pack will be available on Xbox One and PC at a standalone price or as a part of the Car Pass from November 7th. [via Forzamotorsport.net]
11. @BAk99 Well that's certainly something. Maybe a bit much in areas for my tastes but hey, you do you man! @TIMELESS Nice choice there mate. I like that the colour matches your work uniform.
12. The upgrade and some other stuff that you don't care about has been completed. We appreciate your understanding while we performed this and if you experience any strangeness please let us know. Thanks.
13. Tonight around 00:00 (midnight) GMT I will be performing an upgrade to the forum software we use to a more recent version in order to tackle some of the rare registration issues that are happening with the current one. This shouldn't take too long but please be aware I have said this before and then ended up having to pull a near all-nighter... which was fun! :sulk: At the time, we will post our progress on our social media channels and also update the maintenance page that will be displayed on visiting too. Thanks.
14. I am hoping next year gives us a championship fight throughout the field. Been a while since we've had that I think.
15. Happy Birthday Piotr! :birthday: :happyspin:
16. Ferrari has been getting some new younger fans because of Liberty Walk kits and such.
17. It's not out until 2019 so plenty of time to stare. The footage was confirmed to be from the PS4 Pro too.
18. It's been too long since a game has allowed us to return to feudal Japan and play as a Samurai but Sucker Punch's new game will do just that! Set in a large open-world this totally new IP from the developers behind the inFAMOUS games is one I will be watching as I really enjoyed the older Tenchu games.
19. During the PlayStation conference at this year's Paris Game Week we were treated right at the end to the latest trailer for The Last of Us Part II. (be warned that it is fairly brutal in its content) I have to admit that while watching it I was unsure as to whether it was live action or not, but after a few minutes it eventually became clear that this was in fact a game. However, that didn't take away from the beautifully shot sequence and in fact made it even more impressive to view. NSFW Reason
20. Assetto Corsa 'Ferrari 70 Pack' Console Release Date The Assetto Corsa ‘Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack’ for PS4 and Xbox One has a release date! Kunos Simulazioni have announced on Facebook that console players will be able to download the new celebratory pack on October 31st. This new premium (not included in Season Pass remember!) seven-car pack celebrates the 70th anniversary of one of the most infamous automotive manufacturers and motorsport racing names in history. Many of their cars, be it those suited to the road or dedicated racers have become legends in their own right – with the Prancing Horse logo and badge being so well known, that even the most uninformed person could likely name it. Steeped in success and excess, the contents of the pack include many familiar faces grills. From classics to modern-day, road cars to racing cars, even to the present-day Scuderia Ferrari Formula One racecar currently competing in this year's championship! Included after a public poll voted it the outright winner. This and the rest of the Ferraris included are shown below: Assetto Corsa - Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack 1962 250 GTO 1967 330 P4 1967 312/67 1984 GTO 2004 F2004 2017 812 Superfast SF70H Kudos Kunos! Stating not too long ago that they were looking to bring down the time difference between content releases on PC and console, this news is a sign that this was not said to shut up moaners, but actually something they are actively working on. Players on PS4 and Xbox One might have had to wait six weeks to get it compared to those on PC, however it has to be remembered that the consoles have to go through a submission and approval process. And as has been seen in the past, delays from this can result in even longer waits (poor Xbox One players). Happily, it appears Kunos are getting a handle on this as the Ferrari 70 DLC pack passed by pretty swiftly. [via Assetto Corsa Facebook]
21. Need for Speed Payback Car List With less than two weeks to go until Need for Speed Payback drops Ghost Games have released the car list, and rather unexpectedly there is no sign of Ferrari on it. Stereotypical NFS fans will not be as bothered about this compared to the lack of Toyota, however it will still be a sore point for a number of the infamous marques’ many fans as the previous game contained two models. And despite not allowing players to go too extreme with the customisation, it was great to take the legendary F40 and turn it into its more radical LM counterpart. Moving away from what isn’t there to what is, the list features most of what you would expect in a brand new modern-day NFS game, with a well-rounded blend of JDM icons, classic and more recent US muscle, and a real mixture of European front runners. From city driver to mind-blowing hypercars, there should be no problem for many a car enthusiast to find at least one vehicle that tickles their fancy. To add to the numbers, every one of the vehicles – except for the Ford F150 – has a minimum of two classes the vehicle can be purchased out of the five classes of: Drag, Drift, Off-Road, Race, and Runner. Take for example the BMW M3 Evolution II E30, this can be bought in all of the classes (really?!), meanwhile street racer favourite, the Honda Type-R 2000 only comes in Race and erm… Off-Road guises. Looking at the list, it is clear to see that the variety is spread out well across the history of the series. Modern and classic players will easily identify their favourites and choice picks from among what is on offer. And at least, that’s a good thing. Need for Speed Payback releases on November 10th, 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin. [via NeedforSpeed]
22. Those are some very clean classics you got there. The Giulia looks stunning! And those i8 pics are super stylish, especially the second-to-last. As for the final image, throw a BMW badge and their motto on it and you got a display advert right there! :p
23. Hey there Piotr, welcome to the :duck:! Good to have you with us.
24. I've read that about the sounds not being up to par compared to previous games. Really surprised me to hear that as Forza has always been renowned for that aspect. Not insofar as every car sounding authentic, but the majority of them for sure.
