  1. We have checked over the results and we have a winner!! CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN to Soundwave for his two in a row, you have won 'the banner contest' #69!! hassan1995 wasn't far behind as the runner-up and we see a joint taking of the final podium position by superhyper and a superb comeback by Camel who as you might remember got absolutely NO votes last time. Unfortunately there are more 0 votes again, this time it's calster17 and Viwheel bearing the shame of being on the receiving end of the 'nil'. And a big *tut tut* to nfsMIB who has been disqualified for voting on their own entry. Read those rules folks!
  2. Near the half-way mark and things are looking close. Don't think this one will be a run away like the previous was.
  3. Well that's interesting as there's no mention really involving this, so is this an extra bonus to come with 1.5? Appears it is something to do with that as it's a teaser posted by AC's Licensing Manager. :hmmm:
  4. "Surprise" Bonus Pack 2 A video has been released, rather unexpectedly, showing off the contents of a brand new Bonus Pack for Assetto Corsa, due to release alongside the version 1.5 update on March 31st. In the humorous showing for the free Bonus Pack 2, we see a Corvette C7 Stingray and a Ford Mustang enjoying themselves on the new "Black Cat County" desert track which will come in three configurations, before meeting up with a stylish Italian "surprise". As they all face each other, the revs rise and then the power drops, producing puffs of smoke as their tyres struggle to grip on the tarmac due to the horsepower being exerted through them, speeding head-first towards each other as quickly as they can accelerate along the stretch of tarmac. It's really quite a sight to behold and brilliantly executed. And as Kunos themselves are Italian, it makes sense that they would want to include a true hero of their country's automotive history. The surprise from Italy will be included within the console version, however the US duo is available as part of the ‘Prestige Pack’ pre-order incentive at select retailers. Currently available on PC via Steam, Assetto Corsa will hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on June 3rd in Europe and June 7th in North America. Source: Assetto Corsa facebook
  5. 2017 Nissan GT-R Premium The facelifted 2017 Nissan GT-R may just have recently been unveiled at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), but already it's availability virtually will begin from tomorrow, in Need for Speed. Making its video game debut in the game this latest - and possibly the final version - of the R35 generation, known as the Nissan GT-R Premium 2017, will come to the PS4 and Xbox One on March 24th and March 30th for PC. Even though the R35 did not take the 'Skyline' name it is still seen as one, and the name is synonymous with street racing culture and it's no surprise to find many of them in a game such as NFS which centres on this. And within the trailer you can see many of these icons with the years of that model shown on their number/license plates, from the R32 of 1993 and R34 of 1999, right up to this newest 'Godzilla' of 2017, but strangely missing out the '71 original??? No R33 though, which is my personal favourite. With games it is easy to fall into the What's the difference? thinking when a new model of what is more or less the same car already included is released, as we cannot experience the new changes except for what we can see: like a few styling cues, a speed increase and perhaps a different handling feel, but nothing too drastic to the previous. If this wasn't free then sure that would be an issue but seeing as it is then it's something new for nothing and I'm sure many can live with that. >The GT-R's award-winning 3.8-liter V6 24-valve twin-turbocharged engine – each unit handcrafted by its own Takumi technician – now delivers 565 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 467 lb-ft of torque, representing an increase of 20 HP and 4 lb-ft, respectively, from last year's model. - Nissan Press Release Ironically for this game due to the lack of an in-car/cockpit view, one of the main updates to the 2017 model is a much improved interior making it a more welcoming environment for the driver -- one of the jokes about the R35 was about how if you were driving you wouldn't have to look at it but the interior itself was never kept in high regards to its aesthetics or styling either. Despite this, you could never deny the performance and handling of the car which would put a lot of the more expensive options to shame in a drag race or a few laps round a twisty circuit. Yes it may be another 'Skyline', but we're not anywhere near approaching Gran Turismo territory. (though we wouldn't say no to an R33 guys!) UPDATE: A few official images added. 6. Soundy's shot is a detail shot but not in the typical manner. He's quite cleverly got a subtle blur going on past the rear quarter of the car which makes your eye focus on the area between the rear light and wheel-arch down to the rain-soaked wheel. In other words: the details.
  7. A real shame to see this happen, Evo are a very talented team and the way they pulled what was most certainly a dead duck and turned it around to what it became and the following and support they have provided is something many of us want to see other developers replicate. And it's not just this game either that is a testament to what I say: I still regard their WRC II Extreme on the PS2 as the best rally game I have ever played. I have very fond memories of that game and my Logitech DFP and would laugh and be amazed when your car would actually fall off a cliff or just barrel roll off the course. I have only briefly tried Motorstorm but again that was a fun series that they continued to evolve and throw new features at and despite some of it perhaps not working, the fact they even tried is shows just how creative and experimental they were with their projects. Really hope they find themselves on their feet either within Sony or as a new team as it's clear they work well together and produce some incredible feats on the hardware they are developing for.
  8. Have you considered Gremlins?
  9. Always annoying when you think you have ruled out the cause only to find it isn't and then some other issue arises.
  10. POLL OPEN Don't forget if you entered you MUST vote, for your entry to be valid. Another fantastic turnout in this guys, thanks a lot!!
  11. Only saw the crash and wow I was not expecting him to get out of that unscathed if I am honest. Real testament to the safety and strength of these things.
  12. Impressive pics here Ozz, you know how to take a damn good pic that's for sure. And so many ToCA feels right now, cannot wait for the new BTCC season to begin!

  14. Don't you just love some murderous friendly rivalry? :para:
  15. A cpanel full backup backs up everything, including garbage files, this is normal don't have to worry too much as for which sql file to use, it depends what CMS you have hosted before in your old site as well as the usage remember, you + your host + the CMS named the sql, there is no default name so I can't tell you which one to use however, a good indication is just use the biggest sql file, if you installed smf multiple times, but you only used one for a long period time as for the current database name of your forum, open settings.php find $db_name, that is the database name that your current installation is used you can also look up the old forum's setting file to determine what database sql it was using
  16. inside your unzipped files you will find a sql file go to your cpanel, open phpMyAdmin go to your smf database, the one it asked you to enter when you created your new forum click import from top menu, import the sql file if you have uploaded attachments in your old forum, locate the /attachments folder, upload and replace the same folder in your smf directory done
  17. Like the title says, you can just say something like song name - artist (e.g "Memories - ローラ"), now let the building start
  18. See some people have changed their entries to even better ones. Going to be another tough vote this one and there's still time to get yours in! @mau: Your entry is not large enough mate, needs to be at least 1280px in width and 720px in height. So it will at the minimum be able to be used on the forum banner.
