    Hi, here is a tutorial how add new car on TDU.
     
    First of all you need this:
     
    TDUF, TDUPE, TDUMT :

    Add new car forms, you will see on the tutorial:

    1 - Copy the files (can got any name, bmw_m6 its a example) to TDU/Bnk folder and execute the TDUF:

    2 - Give files ID
     
    For interior, exterior, hud and sound:

    3 - Add new carphysics data

    6 - Now add the car slot on TDUMT (vehicule slots xml file) copy the values.

    7 - Add new rims, copy the values to TDUMT

    Its done, now you have to add new colors and spot the car.

    Thanks ! Idea is to use this tool to help with first decoding Cameras.bin file.
     
    In a while, we'll have our own 'TDUF way' to modify this file and add contents into it :)

    Hi
     
    This is a topic dedicated to adding new vehicle slots and its components.
     
    I managed to add a new vehicle slot in TDU, unlike Megapack 2 project this doesn't use an idle slot but is in fact a new entry in the TDU database. :)
    This effectively means that replacing cars for mods is a thing of the past.
     
    Here's a few initial notes:
     

    Its possible
    Doesn't crash the game when playing online, other players will see the default vehicle
    If you change the database(clean re-installation for example) and open a save file that has a brand new car not written in the database, it'll also show up as default car, when the database does have an entry that matches it the car will show up.

     
    Here's a testing photo: a Plymouth Barracuda, its a brand new slot made by copying over the Challenger entry and editing a few values so its recognised as a new vehicle.

    Car in-game, as you can see everything works fine.
     
    Will write up a bit more on this later. :)

    This tool can only change the items displayed in this tool. Some of the items (ex; 0-100 time etc.) are used only for display in the game, not anything obtained effect actually when you change.
    Anyway, I think that it is better to try to edit some items and experience the result in yourself.;)

    Btw, Did you fault of adding some Stripes on it ? If you look on Google, the Camaro '70 looks great with some stripes. Just a suggestion :D

    Bnk1.map right ?
     
    An old TDUMT version could do it - can't remember which one though, as I removed this feature years ago.
     
    Now there's no such tool to open it and it will mainly depend on what you're planning to do. For that kind of files I'm mainly using a hex editor.
     
    My next tools will provide much easier way to add new entries in it.

    Original TDU server had a slot list for sure, as it would check one's physics and eventually disconnect offenders,
    I seriously doubt the new server has one.

    Not all files otsutsvuyut, say they Cobalt wheels I already dovno registered under the particular model, as well, and Mazda, and some motorcycle wheels, however, I replaced all cars Motorcycles prescribing all wheels under them, in the end I have a lot of machines, drives, and machines can all tunengovatsya, even those that winning! If interested here Vile look, which can be useful for the development of our TDU Dolny Thank you!...

    Yesterday, I was parsing TDU files and I found 2 sets of rims which are present in TDU install folder but the game (a modder) can't properly use them.
    That's because corresponding entries do not exist in Bnk1.map. Still.
     
    vehicules/rim/chevrolet/cobalt_1_f_01.bnk
    vehicules/rim/chevrolet/cobalt_2_f_01.bnk
    They are currently attached to Chevrolet Cobalt slot.
     
    So I'm working on a tool to update Bnk1.map with missing files.
    That way, anyone could drop new files in bnk directories then use it to fix the mapping :)

    TDU2 VehiclePropertyEditor is updated to ver0.7.
     
    Changes from previous version are as follows.
    - The program changed; When the "Save/Exit" button is clicked in "Setting" page, program once finished, and restart itself with the new configuration.
    - Brand name "Bristol ; code=58" It has been changed to be used as a "Porsche".
    - When changing the name, was to display the number of characters available free space.

    Installation:
    Place TDU2VPE.EXE, iniLdr.exe, TDU2vPE_ini.xml and TDU2DBCarList.xml to a suitable folder after extract the zip.
    Older version user, it is necessary to overwrite the TDU2VPE.exe and TDU2DBCarList.xml.
     
     
    requirement:
    - TDUdec.exe; This tool will change the db_data.cpr. Therefore, you must have tdudec.exe.
    - Unpacked game files.
     
    Usage;
    - Before use, please specify the location of TestDrive2.exe and TDUdec.exe.
     
    - Read Vehicle data:
    In the section of "Taeget vehicle", select the Vehicle, to read the data by pressing the "Load" button.
    The current value is displayed in the column "Setting".
     
    - Edit a data:
    Enter a new value to "Modify to" column.
     
    - Apply new value to db_data.cpr:
    Press the "Apply" button.
     
    Note:
    - To restore the db_data.cpr, open "Other command" in "Setting" page, there is a button to restore the DB.
    Then restore all the settings back to the initial
    - Approximately 500 characters are available for vehicle name change.
     
    If you find a point to be improved, please let me know.
     
    Known bug(s);
    - If you change either of data of 370Z and 370z nismo, there is a bug that also affect the other data. The same phenomenon will occur even Spyker D8 and D12.
    Only the above two sets of the above issues have been identified.
     
    - Vehicle ID of Dodge Charger SRT8 is wrong. I will fix in the next release.
    You will be able to fix it by yourself by changing the ID of the Dodge Charger SRT 8 to 321 from 377 in TDU2DBCarList.XML.
