  1. The Alpinestars DLC Comes To Forza With A Smorgasbord Of Additional Vehicles This is the kind of DLC that has at least one car for every kind of driver. Each of these new vehicles have a different performance level and different driving characteristics, ranging from a Daytona 24 hour competitor to an Aztek which may or may not brake bad. Also coming this month is a special Rivals mode which features the Ford Daytona Prototype on the Daytona Sports Car Circuit with a chance to win some Alpinestar prizes! What's In The Box?! 2015 Ford #02 Chip Ganassi Racing Riley Mk XXVI Daytona Prototype: Not only is this a Daytona winning race car, it also has to hold the title for longest named Ford model ever. We'll call it the Daytona Prototype for short. Under the hood... well, under the rear, of this beast sits a 3.5 litre Ford Ecoboost V6 engine. 1990 Mercury #15 Whistler Radar Cougar XR-7: Another legendary racer that has taken on Daytona. This version comes with the meatier V8 engine, ready to take you to victory. 1967 Sunbeam Tiger: When Britain met Carroll Shelby. Sunbeam were determined to make a fast roadster, so what engine would you put in it? A Ford V8. Shelby initially developed a prototype with a Ford 260 V8, but in the end they shoehorned a 289 V8 into it. 2005 Pontiac Aztek: Batman has the Batmobile, James Bond has his Aston Martin, Walter White... has this. 1992 Alfa Romeo Milano Quadrifoglio Verde: "You're not a petrolhead until you own an Alfa" - Top Gear. Well, now's your chance. You, too, can become a digital petrolhead. 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5: Once the best-selling car in the world, this old-school Japanese motor now carries more weight as a potential drifter. All I need to know is... 2JZ? 1996 Subaru SVX: Giugiaro-designed, and yet, it looks like this. A road-going concept car, so props to Subaru for that. Powered with 231 Japanese horses coming from a 3.3 litre flat 6 engine. This lovely selection of weird and wonderful vehicles can be yours for $6.99 or for free if you own the Car Pass. Available now on the Xbox One, Xbox One and the Xbox One! Like it or loath it? Tell us your thoughts in the forums! [gallery link=file" columns="4" ids="3921,3922,3923,3924,3925,3926,3927]
  2. People complain about that ass? I love that ass.
  3. Thanks very much guys! I have a few more to upload and a lot of links to change
  4. As you may have noticed over the past few weeks COMB@T's mods all have dead links. Well I have good news! Earlier today jokker08 sent me all of COMB@T's mods that he has on his hard drive. I have uploaded these to mediafire so you guys can download :) If anyone else has the missing mods, please send me a PM and I'll add them to the folder. Over the next few days I'll go through the original threads and add the new links to them as well. Folder 1 Folder 2 - Credit to Rule Update 28/01/16: Updated threads with all the links I have and closed threads that still have dead links.
  5. I was quite surprised at how boaty this thing is. I mean it's not like driving Cal's Lexus around the track, but it's very soft. Every time I'm breaking hard into corners it kind of bounces around and wants to go... well... not where I want to go.
  6. The Wait Is Now Over, Coming To pCARS Are New Motors Last week we discussed the upcoming car and track pack coming to Project Cars. Well... it's no longer upcoming, instead, it's now released almost here! It should be hitting your PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 at this very moment (if this very moment is Jan 29th). With this latest pack we get the flavour of StanceWorks, the insanity of Mad Mike, and the beauty of the Scottish Highlands, which we'll talk more about below. But first, check out this tasty trailer: What an incredible trailer, and I'm not just saying that because 60FPS makes me happy. Now, you're probably ready for the deets (details). The Cars The Freebie: From Australia's mental V8 Supercars series, the 2014 season's Ford Falcon FG. It has a large V8, rear wheel drive, and is used to racing around tracks like Bathurst. What more do you need to know?! The Austrian: No, we don't mean Arnold Schwarzenegger... or that other guy. KTM's first dive into the waters of sports car manufacturing, the KTM X-Bow R. 300bhp in a car that weighs only 790kg. Not bad for a first attempt. The Drifter: The crazy, mental, insane MX-5 RadBul Formula Drift owned by the legendary and probably kinda' nuts Mad Mike Whiddett. This thing's got a 26B engine, and if you're as clueless about Mazda engines as I am you'll have no idea what that is. It's a 4-rotor Wankel engine. I bet that clears things up a bit. Well that doesn't matter anyway, it makes braaaap braaaap noises and has a lot of power. The New Kid: The BMW 1-Series M-Coupe, a sort-of spiritual successor to the classic 2002. StanceWorks turned the 1M into a purpose-built, GT3-inspired racer, and it probably breathes fire. StanceWorks have designed a full kit for this beast, making it look really mean. And it's no sheep in wolf's clothing either, it's putting out 460 of Munich's finest horses. The Old Fart: Inspired by the legendary FIA cars, the 2002 features Group 2 bodywork with boxed fenders, nixed bumpers, and M1 Procar-inspired mirrors. And if that's not enough to excite you, it literally has a Formula 2 engine. No seriously, a high-revving BMW M12 is under the hood, waiting for you to thrash it. The Track We've waited years, and now it's here. Or maybe you didn't know it existed, well either way, it's here. Bannochbrae takes you through 4.5 miles of roads situated in the Scottish Highlands, a country legendary for it's twisty, challenging driving roads and of course, a certain famous Loch. Whether or not there is a monster in the waters of the "Misty Loch", I can't tell you. No one knows for sure. Tell us if you like this, hate this, or why you couldn't care less over in the forums! 7. If you just uninstalled, your mods and game save should still be there. Just make sure to move them before installing or they could be overwritten by the original files. Guys please don't bump these threads, I've already sent COMB@T a message about this and not yet got a reply. If you have any of his mods send me a PM and we can reopen the threads.
  8. Yup, stupid Forza. Best to cut it on the inside so you don't run out wide. Ironically that doesn't dirty your lap there, while it does in other places :fp: I managed a dirty 2:07.9, but after that my tyres were stuffed so I'm currently on a 2:09.717. You definitely can, man :nods:
  9. Wow, nice work! That last shot reminds me of Watch_Dogs :hmmm:
  10. Man that's stunning, especially that last shot. Venice beach? :D
  11. Can confirm, am nerd. If you enjoy history, cars, and James May, you need to go watch this. I thought it was excellent, very interesting and also funny thanks to the dry wit of Mr May. In my opinion, it's what Top Gear should have done more of over the past few years.
  12. If you have a need for a Top Gear fix, I hear James May's Cars Of The People is very good. Season 2 just started and is available on iPlayer and probably international waters, yarrr. I'm just about to watch, I shall come back with an opinion.
  13. :fp: If it helps Mike, I too see an Apple :p :welcome: Welcome good sir! Amazing that in 9 years it's only now that someone has used that username :p
  14. Yep ^ With this game patience really is key. I'm okay with that though.
  15. Welcome back, the 'Cuda is looking good :)
  16. Well, the good news is not only should this be good fun (unlike the :headbang:ing week of the Agera on Bathurst), but I do believe Camel sucks with FWDs :p
  17. :hmmm: What was that? Tested the new photomode this morning, very impressed to be honest. It's not 100% perfect, but it's 95% there and better than a lot of game's photomodes. I'm not a fan of the handling changes they've made though, with a wheel it's better but with a controller it's awful. Wonder if it feels the same on consoles. And unfortunately Steam has lost the one photo I took :fp:
  18. So this is pretty amazing. When I was a kid there was nine planets, poor Pluto, but it looks like there might be a ninth after all. We just haven't discovered it yet. Exciting :D
  19. StanceWorks And The Twisty Roads Of Scotland Come To Project CARS The latest upcoming release as part of the On Demand program from Slightly Mad Studios is an exciting one. This will mark the 7th pack to bring new cars to the game, and the 4th containing a new track. This month, the madness of StanceWorks comes to pCARS in the form of two epic BMWs, and as if that's not enough you'll also get a side order of Scotland's best roads. The Cars BMW 2002 Inspired by the legendary FIA cars, the 2002 features Group 2 bodywork with boxed fenders, nixed bumpers, and M1 Procar-inspired mirrors. The paintwork rocks a Lowly Gentlemen livery. For shoes, only the best Fifteen 52's forged 3-piece Integrale SC wheels. Inside, the car is stripped out, with only a set of vintage bucket seats, a true to form roll cage, and a MOMO steering wheel. The only sign of luxury in this beast is the Alpina-style gauges. Under the hood you'll find a BMW M12 engine, quite literally a Formula 2 engine, pushing out 260 of Germany's finest horses at an insane 8000rpm. BMW 1M A sort-of spiritual successor to the classic 2002, StanceWorks turned the 1M into a purpose-built, GT3-inspired racer. The bodywork is inspired by other GT3 monsters from the BMW line-up, such as the E92 M3 GT3, Z4 GT4, and M6 GTLM. It features a hungry-looking, massive front splitter, a not-so-subtle rear diffuser with four fire breathing exhausts, and the wing of a 777 on the rear giving a massive downforce of 350lbs at 150mph. Under the body sits a set of Fifteen 52 Formula LTW. Much like the 2002 the 1M's interior is completely stripped and set up for racing with some bucket seats, full cage, and a Motec display. Under the hood remains the original 1M engine, a 3.0 litre turbocharged straight 6. However, thanks to the addition of a new intercooler, exhaust and higher manifold pressure, the 1M is now making 460 horsepower. And to deal with all that extra oomph you get bigger brakes and H&R Coilovers to sharpen that handling. Also coming to Project CARS is Mad Mike's RADBUL Mazda MX-5, the KTM X-Bow R, and the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar as a free car. More details on these next week. The Track Also coming in this month's DLC is the long awaited, years-in-the-making Scottish Track. Named Bannochbrae and seen in the photos of the StanceWork's beemers, this track is a fictional road that gives you a taste of the best driving roads in Scotland. Long, winding roads, twisty bends, hairpins, and scenery that will make you think you're watching Game of Thrones. The pictures are reminiscent of the iconic Loch Ness, even showing a building that looks similar to Urquhart Castle. We can't wait to see it in person.. digitally. Check out the rest of the pictures below and feel free to join us in the forums and let us know your thoughts! 20. 34.641 :p Back in second! :duck: I think the only way I'll ever beat Camel is by using a S7 as well. I'm faster through the corners but he must be hitting 270mph on the straights.
  21. I'm just not sure you have enough Apple TVs :hmmm:
  22. Yup, that's securom! I was having the same issue. If you want to try a few suggestions that people have made in this thread and see if anything works, unfortunately for me the only answer was to dual-boot with Windows 7... but at least I have a reason to use Windows 7 again
  23. :welcome: Welcome aboard HMS Duck!
