For the most part I did enjoy 2017. Guns N Roses was amazing, sold my Green Day tickets though :lol: Australia was a fantastic experience... dying to go back. Passed my test first time, loving driving.. couldn't give it up. Overall I've had more experiences and fun in 2017 than any other year of my life. Bring on 2018 :btup

Getting married will be the biggest thing for me this year.

I made some progress with the helping family thing but I still get annoyed with some of the more repeatable requests and asks. :huh:
 
The second started off well enough and has done me well in some areas, but others I am still non-willing to act on because I see little-to-no response to the work I have done or am doing. Ironically, this is detrimental to both causes because one causes a negative reaction to the other.
 
Personally I am at a better place than I was in 2016. As for professionally, I think I need to live up more to my username on here.

I can wait longer but I really hope they nail it sooner rather than later... the current crop of racing games are nothing but mediocre, wrapped up in gilt shell.

This is quite brilliant. :lol: A company based in New Zealand called Netsafe have created an AI that will take the spam emails that it is sent and get to work on wasting the time of those who sent them. To use it, just forward your scammy unwanted emails to [email protected]


They post examples of some of those it's done on their Rescambot twitter (some NSFW) if you want to get an idea of how it goes about this.
 

The Voyager 1 spacecraft, which is currently travelling in interstellar space, has managed to fire thrusters that have been dormant since 1980! This, according to NASA, will extend the life of the craft by two to three years.

Having been there many times as a child, it was great to actually drive there myself. :)

Mau and I came up with the idea of making a thread where we'll post our best time on certain tracks.

It's no excuse for having the car parked and add some "working on it" sound...

May or may not have treated myself to a new car :ytwh: Not sure when it's being delivered, but hopefully sooner rather than later before there are too many 67 plate cars on the road.

Having been 'mothballed' back in December, I finally got the old girl back...

Connected the battery, let it sit for 5 minuets then fired her up. Not bad considering it's sat in a barn for 9 months. (I can sell it as a barn find?).
Treated he to a full tank of Shell V-Power and been fine, but she'll be playing second fiddle to the Abarth. Forgot how much I loved it's smooth ride and V8 burble.
 
On another note, this is the first year since 2011 that I've not bought a car! :O
