Maybe somebody knows what´s the important point in the Physics Editor. I have no clues. But anyways, this car mod is a piece of art! I GOT IT, NORBY! It is the "Acceleration"-setting in the TDUPE. I put it to 150 and now the V600 goes like hell. -

Norby, I have a little "problem" and I don´t know how to go on, maybe you can help. I use the physics from Tool831´s V600 and fixed the height to your car, as well as cam and IK. It´s all fine, except the speed! I can´t make your car as fast as Tool´s V600. It´s all the same data, but when I shift yours from 5th to 6th gear, there is an immense lack of power. I checked all data compared to Tool´s (which had a top speed over 320), but there are no mistakes at all. Do you know what can cause this?! It´s weird. Does anyone have matching physics for Norby´s V600? I don´t want it to go just over 270kmh. -

Norby, this is fantastic - the blue one is exactly what I told you about!! :D Thank you very much! -
Norby, the height on the photo isn´t bad. In real, the V600 was very high. It´s a big beast of a car. As I wrote, dark blue with almost white leather and blue stiching, dark wood hide. Who the hell needs a girl if he could have such a car? :D EDIT: I found a picture - it´s Rolls Royce peacock blue with navy blue dashboard, dark maple wood trim and magnolia leather (navy blue stitching) - *EYEGASM*

Yes, sorry, I didn´t want to forget you and your mods!

It´s time to stop that "do this, do that, do it fast" kiddos - this is not only annoying, that makes me feel ashamed when I have to read those comments. Modding needs a huge amount of time, this is just one little point those guys don´t think about. It also needs much knowledge as well - if I could do more then switching my computer on and off, I would even not have enough time to start modding. And to be honest, I can spend my time much better. But I appreciate those guys who keep TDU alive over all those YEARS(!!!!). I switched back from TDU2 to TDU and I couldn´t believe how many great modders we still have here. Norby, Minime, Combat (and to be honest I also really like Miha´s mods)...they are the reason for me still playing this (7 yrs old?) game in my rare freetime. Just stop asking - wait and use other cars until new ones appear here. Otherwise, go out, check out some girls and have fun.

Are you sure there was a 745i after the facelift in 2005?!? I don´t think so...

Naftabm: BMW 530 D Sound MOD V 2.0 released!!
VanquishHH replied to naftabm's topic in Car Customization Mods
What is the sense of making a BMW Diesel sound and BMW Diesel physics when there is NO BMW Diesel mod for TDU?!? -
Hi. I just learned, there is a Non-S Vanquish in a Forza game, so I would love to see it in TDU. It´s a classy and sporty GT car, not as fast as the Vanquish S and just slighly different, but a real beauty.

released Incognito: Custom licence plates
VanquishHH replied to Incognito's topic in Car Customization Mods
Hi Incognito, great to see this thread alive again. In your 2nd post, there are two plates which base on my idea. The Liechtenstein plate and the Zurich plate (ZH 8558 H). Could you delete the "H" from the Zurich plate? This is only for Historic vehicles and does not match my Ferrari 575. :D Would be great! Cheers Jan -
I was a big fan of those autoinstallers first. But now, I prefer manual installation. Why? Do you know what happens, if an autoinstaller does not work properly and the "uninstall" button does not work? This can cause a database crash. So, manual installation is easy and simple, thanks to TDPE and copy&paste. Believe me, it´s better. I can fully understand Norby. He is a man who has a view for details and perfection, so there is a reason he prefers manual installation.

Hi. Due to my problem with a crashed database a few days ago, I installed TDU and my mods again. I´ve had that problem before reinstallation, too, but now I have to ask WHY. Sometimes, when I go to a dealer to buy a car, the camera position is totally weird. If you close the game and start TDUPE after that, you see the camera has changed by itself. It happens only with a few cars, but they seem to be the same everytime (some modded, some stock). The camera ALWAYS changes to a motorbike cam. Does anybody know why it happens? It´s weird. As I wrote, I had a crashed database and I am not sure if this has any correlation to the problem. Cheers Jan

Hmm, I think it´s all fine. The GTR (newest mod) is on the Holden Ef... and this car only has one color. You can paint the car at the deluxe paint shop in every color you want.

Sorry, I can´t help you, but I have been annoyed by not working autoinstallers in the last few days, which caused a reinstallation of TDU this evening. I prefer mods without autoinstallers in future. They may be easy to install, but if the uninstaller does not work, it can cause a database crash, which is very annoying. If you have a problem, better reinstall TDU, it´s the best you can do.

released Wip: 2cv super gt: Patch 1975
VanquishHH replied to 2CV SUPER GT's topic in Environment Mods
It´s a pity that some questions have not been answered until TODAY! I just reinstalled TDU and installed patch 1.68b. After that, I installed the 1975 patch. Now I have many 70´s car with way to much car height in game and don´t know WHY! This was not the case before reinstallation, when I used patch 1.68b and 1975 patch, too. Any idea? -
Thanks. Yes, I will backup EVERYTHING in future, be sure. ;) Just a question - which patches should I reinstall now?
-
Hi Dux, well, I should have written the first thing I did was trying to set the TDU directory again. First, I could not enter TDPE easily (had to click a few times until I could enter) and second, I tried to set the directory and I tried to set the path in TDUeditor manually, but this failed, too. Today I put a backup database file into my TDU directory and now the TDUPE (and TDUMT) work again. But, all the physics are set to default. I have all the modded cars and it seems that there are all patches set, too (last version and 1975 patch). As I am not a computer pro, I just ask myself what could have caused this obvious database crash. On Tuesday I tried to uninstall Tool´s Lambo LP560 version. I had the Coupé and Spyder installed via the included installer. But unfortunately the uninstaller did not work (button was grey instead of red, hope you know what I mean). Now I tried to be smart and uninstalled the cars manually, by overwriting the files with backupped original files and also set the physics to default. Could THIS have caused the database crash? I don´t know what else could be the reason, because everything was working fine until the uninstaller problem happened. What do you think - shall I re-install all the physics for the existing mods or is it better to re-install TDU and set it up new completely? For my understanding the game files are okay (or at least seem to be), this was only a physics problem (I think so, because all the mod cars appear in game but w/o physics). Ideas anyone? ;)

Hi guys. I use the TDUPE in newest version and have not had any problem with it. I just wanted to install a new car and physics, but I could not load TDUPE. Error message was "Invalid File. For security of your game, TDUPE will now close". Then after a few tries I could enter the TDUPE but there were no files visible, error message was "TDU database not found". I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WITH ANY RELATED FILES and I am totally shocked, so what happened and what can I do?????? cheers

@Norby Chrome grille looks nice, but if I put this onto the car and use the piano black interior, the steering wheel is only leather, the piano black is missing. Just for information. ;)

It is very annoying to read your and your romanian friends recurring requests. Just let the modders do their work and WAIT.
