That mustache is just magnificent.

It had online free-roam but only with friends, not open lobbies like TDU.

In the infamous words of the Kool-Aid man, OH YEAH.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I think DSF was a lovely game that could have been expanded to be something more, and if this delivers, that would be amazing. As long as they add wheel support and actually being able to choose the color of your car, I'm looking forward to this!

Is anyone actually honest about their birthday online, though? :mhmm:

It's my birthday! :birthday:

+1. I'd be all over GRID 2 if it had cockpit view, just such a tragedy because it's otherwise a good game.

I would get help or try to improve, but why bother? The psychologist I'd go to probably will treat doctor-patient confidentiality as a complete joke, so then I'd have people pretending to give a damn about me and almost certainly acting in "my best interest" by doing something horribly stupid. Especially with the current mental health system, which allows for suicidal people to be involuntarily held for 72hr in a mental health ward. Not only that, but even then I would still have a horrible overbite, bad acne, and pathetic social skills, so I'd still be in the exact same place as before, except horribly disappointed.

I finally realized that happiness will most likely not ever be a factor in my life again. I'm irreparably hideous, have no social skills, will always be poor with a crappy job, and since I'll be miserable from all those things, it'll be a never-ending cycle. :mhmm:

Ah, that makes more sense. Was only in Times Square mostly, that would certainly explain it.- 3,087 replies

I thought NYC traffic was just about all taxis? I went there on a bus in '08 or so, wonder if it changed. :hmmm:- 3,087 replies

Better idea. Listen up, Ubi. 1. Get TDU 2. Control+C 3. Control+V 4. Add current-gen graphics and some new cars 5. Put it on Steam and other distribution services 6. Actually support it 7. ??? 8. Profit

I think it's straying too far from the narrative of TDU with the idea of a story and (by the look of it) not being on an island. The thing that really sold me on the game was the idea of just driving forever, with not a care in the world and with no boundary to an area that looks like it can be driven on. It added to the feel of the world very much, and taking that away sort of ruins it for me.

New Jersey is pathetic in its own right. Even if you go to New Jersey expecting it to be a complete craphole, you'll still be disappointed. Seeing as this was supposed to be a TDU3, I don't think there's enough disappointment in the world to contain New Jersey and this game. :mhmm:

I assume it's not going to be an open-world "drive around Hawaii to your heart's content" type game, then.
