  1. they work with dlc2 ... for example my f12 sound is made in the 599 gto bnk from dlc1 (or normal game) I just deleted all those sounds because i dont like them . And this topic is in the wrong section
  2. Yes you can delete the car samples if you want leaving only the wind and tire sounds etc... but dont delete the rest otherwise the only thing you will listen is birds (ambient tdu2 sounds)
  3. Actually you cant delete the audio file because in tdu2 the wind , gear effects, transmission sounds , tire sounds , etc are stored individually in each car sound :) i change almost all of the in my sounds (in exception of the dirt sounds)
  4. guys dont know if it helps but i had to make 4 times the sound of the gallardo Seems that almost all bnks of the sounds i choose of tdu2 were buggged or not the best ones indicated for this specific sound And this by it self takes in fact a month Fortunalty everything is solved and soon i will post a preview of the car and sound

How i miss those times....:) Time just flies so fast Everything started with this sound ...i remember asking doctor g to make a supra sound and he didnt listen me as obvious i was just a random person asking for a mod... SO i decided to make my own mod (without knowing a thing about sounds) quickly i unpack a sound and started to see how other modders do this and that That was pretty much my first sound mod ...yet today i know it has a lot of bugs and stuff but somehow its really strange because its like its still my best one --- beginner's luck Cheers and sorry for the off topic XD

Hey i dont want any war like i said in the end i just want to know the reason of taking old stuff and release it as video for unnoficial patch just after i release a video with the aventador almost finished He is certainly trolling with me and minime ... Ok going to repost this with more calm as last time this as pissed me off Shade43 has released this video moments after i release my video of the the thing is this sound shade43 is showing is my old sound as most of you know that i released 2 years ago for reventon09 aventador. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrlah6ovq-w Shade43 however says its not my sound....since im not that stupid and its obvious its is my sound i just want to know why he is doing this I dont mind he modifies the sound i hope it helps him in any way i just want to know why he is putting the logo of unoficial patch on it .... just after i release my video wich makes no sense at all ... So like promised heres a video of the "frying machine" you guys like so much (it was suposed to be a 1min video but its really hard to not drive more) Hope you like it .... also sorry about the pixelation in the middle of the video but i rendered it 5 times and the problem keeps appearing...blaim vegas Let it sing in HD !!!! Well after a lot of testing we decided that the supra will have the original sound as the aftermarket sound didnt make much sense with stock specs The aftermarket could become later in a "tuned" version of a supra ... but thats up to xarlith Cheers Soon i will post a video of the supra sound and the aventador

Well let m try to explain... this is why i never used this way of making sounds (pitch ramps) .... this is the tecnhic/method doctor G uses asweel wich is pretty much basic and does the job in seconds but the thing is... Tdu uses 3d audio so when you put the video samples in the bnk of the car tdu will then simulate a "distance in game"...it uses also vst plugins in the process.... so the sound that you have from video (wich already has his own distance depending of the recording spots) will than gain another distance (in space/field (while in game)) and will then be morphed because of the plugins the filter aplies So this is why the best way to listen the "real" volume of the samples is in bumper view (because the distance that tdu creates and the number of plugin effects are near 0 (value)) ( btw thats why all doctor G videos are recorded in bumper view (to enchance the volume ) Another thing is that the samples you have from video have generally loads of audio notes (wind, distorcions etc etc) so what happens is the more compressed the audio/spectrum of the note is the less volume it will transfer to tdu1 (or tdu2 the same) In the end the key to extract the maximum ammount of sound in tdu is by having clean notes of audio without a very full filled graphic .... the more clean the note is the best the 3d system can read the sample and bump it to 3D ... and why ? because by being clean it means the sample has no distance itself (you hear only the note -> tdu then does the rest ) So instead of hearing a car ingame at a distance playing a note/sample with distance (the sample you took from the video) you will hear a car at a distance playing the note where it should be (with 0 distance) SInce the very first day of modding i have knew that home made video real samples for this game would never work the way they should work.... thats why i use another method (similar to forza) Like i said 4000 times already XD this kind of tecnhic fits rfactor and gtr2 games .... because they dont use a 3d audio system...so they dont simulate distances ...so the audio you create is the audio you listen without any kind of post process Well the only advise i can give you is ... try to use a spectral cleaner ..only then you can amplify volume without distorce the sample
