1. aha I see, thanks anyway for your job ;)
2. you have an Interior Picture for 2004 Audi S4 ? or you didn't finished the interior already ?
3. yes you are right, but hopefully agreements will help to be done mods which can be really great :-)
4. yes, I have used Just The Idle for The Other Samples The Mid (RPM) Sample is THE WORST, I ADMIT ... it sounds like An Old TRUCK :)) LESS THAN AN OLD V6 TDI ENGINE :D The Idle is Pretty Good in my opinion BUT : I CAN CHANGE THE MID SAMPLE WITH OTHER FROM AN INLINE TDI DIESEL SOUND ;) My Question is : how is The High RPM Sample sound ? you think I Should Change it also ? hmm, that would be tricky :-? because Original High RPM's DON'T SOUND WELL IN TDU, BECAUSE TDU DEMANDS ONLY MONO FORMAT MICROSOFT ADPCM (WAV) FILE :( and The Original High RPM's are Not "High Quality" Enough --- Post Updated --- hmmm, maybe Because of The Configuration also it sounds so bad, now I put only the Low Sample to all the other samples, except the mid sample . . . I've replaced the mid sample also with the low sample, but it still sounds Too Much Trembling, but : Maybe this is Because of The Configuration ! :-? --- Post Updated --- YES ! ! ! That Was The Problem : I have used Mercedes CLS 55 AMG Audio file, BEFORE I HAVE USED THE FORD MUSTANG GT AUDIO FILE (WHICH HAS WORSE CONFIGURATION), and now That MID SAMPLE Stupid Trembling DISSAPEARED ;) btw : I've made The Same Thing for VOLVO DIESEL SOUND MOD of mine, BUT THE SOUND I'VE FOUND OF AN OLD VOLVO IS A LOOOT BETTER BALANCED THAN EVEN THE NEW TDI ENGINES ! ! ! :O Shocking ! AND WITH THE NEW CONFIGURATION THE MID SOUNDS BETTER ON THE VOLVO DIESEL MOD ALSO ;) ;) ;) BuT : ON THE OLD CONFIGURATION The Volvo Diesel Sound WAS STILL SOUNDING BALANCED ;) That's Why I am Amazed ! AND THAT'S STRANGE : BECAUSE THE VOLVO DIESEL SOUND I'VE FOUND IS TDI (I WONDER : IF IT IS 100% TDI, OR IF IT HAS ALSO THE CONTRIBUTION OF VOLVO, or : Maybe That Person who had written "tdi" in the title of the video Was Wrong) --- Post Updated --- Preview for The Improved Version (with Less Stupid Trembling) : Test Drive Unlimited AUDI S6 (A6 HQ WOOD INTERIOR) V6 TDI Diesel Sound Physics - YouTube
5. it is 2.5 V6 TDI from an Audi S4 ;) ( ) this is the original video of the sound here is the preview : Test Drive Unlimited AUDI S6 (A6 HQ WOOD INTERIOR) V6 TDI Diesel Sound Physics - YouTube
6. Because of posting engine sound mods, I've decided to write this, with the purpose to help people who would be interested of the physics from the previews from my posts (even though I would not get the most viewed :D and my sounds probably would not get more than several hundred views :))). But : that is not my priority, getting many views. My priority is to help people who would like to have realistical enough physics, better than the original game's physics, and to have heavy diesel sounds (which are not plenty), people who would like to have what I have (I don't think here in a superstitious way). I do this because I was before in this position : frustrated of not being able to do my own mods (ok, not cars, which requires a lot of work and computer skills, I talk about sound & physics), frustrated of bothering other people to help me. And now, My Advices about Physics Editing : 1. The Acceleration must be very low for maximum of handling. 2. The Mass (KG) must be 1000 for normal weight cars to provide maximum of handling. 3. FWD / RWD Traction is great for a strong start (with AWD the start is poor). 4. Engine Inertia (smaller) is useful for driving relatively constant at low speeds (without engine struggling). 5. Grip must be big for stability, but with strong enough suspensions & dampers (I recommend 90 value for every 'free space' you have to write). 6. Ride Height (Front/Rear) & Maximum Height (Front/Rear) must have the same value (all of them) for big stability. 7. Overhang (Front/Rear) must be bigger for more cornering stiffness/rigidity and smaller for less cornering stiffness/rigidity (Overhang is, in fact, the ... pfff, just look the image from this link : Wikimedia Error). 8. Track Front/Rear must be bigger for more stability and smaller for less stability (for drifting, but it is not enough) (Track Front & Rear is, in fact, the distance on X Axe between wheels : Wikimedia Error). I recommend 2500 value. Look here also Images with My Physics (from just one car, but all my physics from all my cars are similar) : hopefully I've "washed a big part of my sins" in this *constructive way* :D people who helped me with sounds (they know who they are) [and not only] are helped now by me with physics (even though the car with my physics is fast, it is also heavy enough, muscular) . . . I've tried To Create REALISTICAL ACCELERATION & HANDLING, and NOT REALISTICAL VALUES (WHICH STRONGLY SUCKS).

8. cool then ! but what should I write exactly for having : 5 minutes Morning, 5 minutes Day, and 15 minutes Night ? maybe I am wrong, but for me it seems that the Morning is 10 minutes, the Day is 10 minutes, and the Night is 20 minutes (I didn't used a clock to measure the times)

12. this is the sound from an old truck, but it's really great (better than many other diesel sounds, because it's not the same sound from the reality, the sound samples I've edited are great) Preview : Test Drive Unlimited Unimog 406 OM352 MODIFIED SUPER DIESEL sound physics - YouTube Physics : Released Audi Volkswagen V10 TDI Diesel physics | turboduck forum this is a really cool diesel sound, even though is from a truck I mean the sound samples I've edited, not the original sound (the original sound is also great, but I think my sound samples are better than the original sound [but only in the game], I've added some bass and compression) it sounds a little bit similar to C63 AMG sound )) (I mean it has similar rumble, which in my opinion is very important for every heavy engine, no matter what type is [ this Hummer V8 proves it : HUMMER H3 V8 SOUND - YouTube ] original sound : Unimog 406 - OM352 Motor Probelauf - YouTube because of the rumble this diesel sound is less boring than many other diesel sounds (there are not very boring for me, when I use heavy muscular cars [i mean anything except super cars]), but a diesel with not good enough rumble is too "dry" for this game) and this old diesel sounds much more "performant" than many other "super" diesel sounds even from nowadays (which aren't really that super, because there aren't very different to this one [old, but legend], that's why most of diesel engines are not good enough, because there aren't enough evolved)
13. yes, it worked ! but How to Remove the IN-GAME Sound Pause / Gap (to Sound Continuously) ? I wonder why those Sound Gaps appears (for every Sample, each)
14. yes, it worked ! but How to Remove the IN-GAME Sound Pause / Gap (to Sound Continuously) ?
15. BTW : maybe Audacity AUTOMATICALLY EXPORTS ADPCM Format ! who knows . . .
16. I've searched Many Conversion Programs, and I think Audacity is the best EVEN THOUGH it is Tricky for Being Used . . . I would ask about "Audacity Usage Advices", but I didn't had this idea before :D
17. that's Great ! ! ! ;) look here Diesel Engine Sound MIXES, probably it will help you to improve the sound . . . but in my opinion : it is Good Enough ! :) I Don't Know WHAT IMPROVEMENT is Really Necessarily :-? but please, send me The Download Link, or Attach The Sound File to this mod --- Post Updated --- hmm, yes, the car needs Just a Better On/OffLow Sample . . . just take it from VW / Audi TDI Diesel Sound, I don't think it is a problem --- Post Updated --- Diesel Engine Sound MIX | turboduck forum --- Post Updated --- look here My Mercedes Diesel Sound MIX : Test Drive Unlimited MERCEDES E63 AMG Model TURBO DIESEL SOUND PHYSICS - YouTube
18. aha, good then ! :) in last time I have used only 4x4 and great stability (without drifting), but I need something similar to GTA San Andreas Drifting, to Drift A Lot, but Very Well Controlled ;) pfff, again tdu sends 'fatal error' :)) I have to reinstall it again (I think that's because I have introduced a high quality Nissan GTR (of Norby931), and maybe my bnk file got full, because of introducing too much mods), so : I still didn't tried the physics, but I will try them later after I will reinstall the game or maybe I have a system problem :-/
19. I was busy those days, I will try it now . . . I wanted Nissan GTR Physics to have a Drifting car, but also Controllable ;)
20. I didn't tried 2.5, but I've heard that 2.75 is the best, the least tricky (without many problems) . . . but it doesn't bother me to write the physics by my own ;) especially if something can go not exactly as I want
21. thanks ! yeah, that's extremely strange . . . maybe there are signifiant changes in the database (of the game, or of the tdupe, I really don't know) . . . I've tried to use tdu without megapack, but tdu modding tools could not be worked in that way . . . I've reinstalled again the game, and than the problem with importing my own physics appeared, besides the problem of importing other physics from internet
22. definely it will not work, last time it didn't worked not even with a physics made by me from my computer :)) I don't know why, than I had to reinstall the game, but not just one time, because of importing my own physics for several times more ! =)) than I realized that it was sending me fatal error because of importing (my own) physics, pfff :-J
