  1. You may want to considerably improve your times. :p
  2. Or it's a ploy to get people to play the game who otherwise couldn't in an effort to tempt them into buying an Xbone console and Forza before they inevitably release Forza 7 on PC. Thus making hundreds more £/$/€ this year. :hmmm:
  3. 2:22.396 in my KTM (not the same as the race league).
  4. Forza 6: Porsche Expansion and New Track We all knew this one was coming, sooner or later. But thankfully it was sooner rather than later and it even has me quite tempted to buy it, my first Porsche expansion in the Forza series. And as an added bonus, they're also thrown in a new racetrack, Virginia International Raceway in Virginia. Here's a full list of cars included in the pack and it really has got something for everyone. If you're a Porsche fan that is. 2015 Porsche #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid 1960 Porsche 718 RS 60 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster 1998 Porsche #26 Porsche AG 911 GT1 98 2004 Porsche 911 GT3 1987 Porsche #17 Racing Porsche AG 962c 1955 Porsche 550A Spyder 2011 Porsche #45 Flying Lizard 911 GT3 RSR 2008 Porsche #7 Penske Racing RS Spyder Evo 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 1970 Porsche 914/6 2012 Porsche Cayenne Turbo 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo 1987 Porsche 959 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS 2012 Porsche 911 GT2 RS 2003 Porsche Carrera GT 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mE6ynmEnLFg Virginia International Raceway is a 17 turn, 3.27 mile long ribbon of bumpy, joyous tarmac (or grass and tyre walls for those of you who struggle with roads) ready to catch you out every time you blink or have a minor lapse in concentration. So what are you waiting for? It's out now for £15.99/$19.99! 5. Thanks for that! Updated the first post. Does still need tidying up though.
  6. [headline]Can You Stop The Camel?[/headline] What's this about? Think of it as turboduck's own Rivals, but with some proper rivalry in the community. The Rules: You must use the car (or a car that meets the restrictions) and track chosen by the previous winner. Tuning/setups are allowed. Dirty laps do not count, stay off the lawn kids. Laps do not have to be from a standing start (flying laps count). If you already have a faster lap recorded outside of the competition, this does not count, you must record another and take a picture for proof. If you win, don't forget to chose a car/track for the next week before Monday! Make sure to do your times in RIVALS (or free play), they will not be recorded in test drive. 7. Yea, superheros don't turn people into Kerbarbs (Kebab, it's Kebab!)
  8. I've been busy! But I shall post one in the next 2,224,287 milliseconds.
  9. My 1M tune does have a 1:57.9 time in it as I managed that in tuning but couldn't get the lap together in rivals. Think I've shown I can tune and drive any car now. :cheeky:
  10. Deadpool. :panic: I can't remember the last time I watched a Marvel/superhero/similar kind of film but boy, this film was amazing. There was one part which I laughed so much my eyes started watering, I couldn't breath and nearly lost control of my bladder. It's got love story undertones and Ryan Reynolds for the ladies and then, I'll call it action for the men. Really not sure how on earth it's only rated 15 though!? 10/10 will go to watch it again. :nods:
  11. You can smell them? That's quite a talent you have there. For sure, I will for sure enter this. For sure.
  12. It's easier if you have one of us on your friends list but a picture will do if you can be bothered updating it all the time. Think I've added you but it might be the wrong person. Just about to give this a ago now. :)
  13. I wouldn't call it smooth or effortless. Got a bit skiddy on a few of the outside kerbs which must have slowed me down a bit. But towards the end I was getting within a couple of tenths, lap after lap about 10 times before nailing a decent lap and beating the time. Definitely noticed an improvement on my car control though, especially with trail-braking.
  14. Forza 6 Community Bounty Hunt - Are You Tough Enough? The end of the February bounty hunt is nigh. You have 3 more days to beat RBW Tritons (710th at time of writing) pretty impressive time of 1:38.230 in his Rolls Royce Wraith around the Brands Hatch GP circuit. If you want that Aston Martin V8 Vantage then you need to get racing. As I suspected in the original write up about this bounty hunt, this is no mean feat and many have already fallen by the wayside. I myself have successfully completed the challenge with a time of 1:38.101 but other great racers such as our own superhyper have already thrown in the towel. Paladin Skylark, you're not going to give in too are you? But do not fear, I'll share with you the replay of my fastest lap along with the telemetry so you can see gearing, speeds and pedal positions to help you along the way. Don't forget that you can also do this to any of the top drivers on the leaderboard in game which may help you further. First of all, I do not believe that the time can be beaten unless you have all driving aids turned off and use manual transmission. Manual with clutch would be even better as this saves you time when changing up gear which could be worth half a second or more per lap. It also allows you to blip the throttle on down shifts to bring the revs up and help transfer the cars weight better under braking which can be helpful during corner entry. There are a few tunes at the top of the leaderboards. Most notable is DTM Lionel E46s tunes, both 135% and V.6 along with LMR Harmonics tune. You can't really go wrong using any of the tunes but The LMR tune is a bit more slidey if that's how you prefer to drive. Some of the kerbs can be a massive pain in the arse, quite literally if they throw your car off of the track. The main ones to watch out for are the inside and outside kerbs on the first corner as they can both seriously unsettle the car. The curb on the exit of turn 4 can also give a bumpy ride as seen in the video above. Another one to watch is the inside curb on turn 5 as this will just force you wide. For the first corner you need to brake just before the first white brake board on the left of the track and aim for a late apex to ensure you don't hit the kerbs. For turn 2, trail-braking is key. You need to ease off the brakes as you're going into the corner and then coast until you can see the end of the curb before getting on the power fully otherwise you'll just run wide. Turn 4, another corner where a late apex is beneficial, run wide through the first part of the corner as this allows you to get the power down much sooner to give you a good run at the longest straight on the track. Turn 5, again, you need a late apex to stay away from the inside curb. Take this corner in 4th gear and aim to use the curb on the outside. Turn 8 is one you really need to master to get the laptime. Just as you're going through the right hand kink in the dip, look out for the discoloured piece of track to the right (about 1:07 in the video). You want to start braking just before this with the aim of cutting the next corner. You can go fully off the track and not dirty your lap but try to keep 2 wheels on the curb so you don't lose grip and run wide on the exit. It took me roughly 300 miles to pull together my lap so patience is the key. Just keep practising until you can nail all of the corners and eventually your lap will come. Even with 1 or 2 mistakes (missed apexes and running on bumpy kerbs for me) you can still make the lap. Keep at it! [gallery columns=4" link="file" ids="4253,4252,4251,4250,4249,4248,4247,4246]
  15. Fallout 4 DLC Announced & Season Pass Update Bethesda have finally dropped the news that we were all waiting for: the first 3 DLC and they're coming out in the next 3 months! You have until the end of February to get the Fallout 4 season price at the low price of £24.99/$29.99 before the price increases to £39.99/$49.95. All of the DLC mentioned in this article comes included with the season pass along with what will hopefully be much more over the course of the year. Automatron Automatron. Automatron. Automatron. Such an odd, yet amusing word. Anyway, if you liked Mr Handy as a companion then you're going to love Automatron. But if you hated being hunted down by robots then you may want to give Automatron a miss as rest assured, there will be even more robots to chase you down. Automatron will let you build and customise your own robotic companion that will blow Mr Handy out of the water. You can even paint your Automatron too but there has been no word on stickers yet. Automatron will be available some point next month for £7.99/$9.99. Wasteland Workshop Have you ever wondered which would win, an Alpha Deathclaw or 100 Molerats? Well, with any luck you'll be able to find out come April when we get access to the Wasteland Workshop add-on which adds new features for your settlement building needs. Along with this comes the ability to capture wild "animals" if you can call a giant irradiated Cockroach an animal. You can then tame them to fight alongside you, or for you more twisted people out there, don't be shy, we know that's most of you. You can set them against your own settlers and watch them flee! or, get eaten. The Wasteland Workshop will be available at some point in April this year for the price of £3.99/$4.99 or free if you have the season pass. Far Harbour So far, not much has been said about Far Harbour apart from it's a Harbour and it's apparently quite Far. We do know that it includes a new area to explore full of new quests, buildings/dungeons, creatures, new armour, weapons and some lovely wastelanders that will try and shoot you in the back with the first opportunity that they get. SOoo to be fair, quite a bit has actually been said about Far Harbour so far... Far Harbour (The Harbour that's apparently quite Far remember) can be yours for the low low modest price of only £19.99/$24.99 in May. Stay tuned for more updates once the DLC release dates get closer. In the mean time, stay safe out there Dwellers. [gallery link=file" ids="4199,4201,4200" orderby="rand]
  16. Aww, I thought the physical release was in September. :( Should be worth the wait though.
  17. I think I'll wait for this as it's a bit of an odd release from what I've read. I've purposefully not looked at any videos or screenshots because I probably will buy it if I do. Seems to me that they're selling the game for full retail price and not giving you a full game. Unless I've got it wrong which is fairly likely. :hmmm:
  18. I'll try and get a time (competitive one this time) set for this. Not a huge fan of the track as there's a certain bit a kitty litter that I always end up in but the rest is fine.
  19. The new qualifying sounds good imo but it is not needed as others have said. The races need to changed in some way. And the slower teams will get even less running with the new format. But at least it will stop the faster teams from sitting out of quali until the last few minutes.
  20. Still can't believe how good some people can make this game look. Truly stunning. Keep up the good work and keep us updated!
  21. Here's mine minus my background. 'Slightly' modified Android 6. And my laptop which is pretty standard and still on the out of the box Win10 background. :hmmm: Don't spend much time on the desktop so have never bothered changing it. My work laptop is a different matter. [ATTACH]25172[/ATTACH]
  22. I just can't wait to get back on the road again.
