    H1 is a good game that you won't want to play after completing the SP events unfortunately. While the multiplayer mini-games were fun with friends there was no 'cruising' aspect to the game.

    It will be interesting to see X360 v Xbone sales figures for this title. I'd only get it for the 360 due to wheel support I guess, but I won't be in a massive hurry to get it if The Crew is good enough .

    You do realise the railway takes you to the shop instead of the dungeon now? Cool design, maybe could do with a pillar going into the seabed. If I'm really clever I'll setup a minecart-chest automatic delivery system. Also whoever blocked off the other minecart track, it is supposed to be able to fall down onto the other track, then stop so you can chose the direction.

    If it's something used only a couple of hours per week tops I'd still expect it to last longer than that. At least you can order order wheels freely over there, they only make a limited batch with Australian power plugs. I'd be writing back to them negotiating a better deal on a new wheel (discount some of the profit they make) with the 'threat' of switching to Thrustmaster. So what wheels are you looking at now? Waiting for any of those new Clubsport rims?

    I'm sure they'll be great. As long as they're better than GT6 eh? :) Having the best recordings doesn't immediately mean a game will have the best sounds because all of the effects (internal sound, external sound, AI sound x numberofAI (approach, doppler, fade), etc take up a surprising amount of CPU.

    I've never installed the game from scratch on Windows 8 but I have played it plenty of times with no problems (files remaining on a different HDD from a previous installation on Win7). Post up your PC specs, try a different version of graphics drivers and go from there. The other thing worth mentioning is that I don't install games into the protected \Program Files\ directory. They're all in C:\Games\ instead.

    Welcome Banks. Here's a question you should be able to answer. In the exploration challenge recently completed, the winning team took ~36 hours to complete the tasks, whereas the other teams took over 100 hours. What specific factors would you put this down to? Obviously the game world is huge and fast travel wasn't permitted, but would you put the massive time discrepancy down to difficulty finding things, or difficulty completing the missions/skills (i..e lack of driving skills), or bringing the wrong car spec to an event? Other questions: Will the police chase you outside of missions? Even when cruising online? Is there a tag/chase mode where one player is chased by other online players? Do mission time limits increase as the career progresses? i.e. there is a 4 hour race, but can you get yourself into a 1-hour police pursuit or takedown event? When friends are cruising together (locked) can they instantly change their car/spec without leaving the group (connection-wise and/or location-wise)? Are there any aids to help us find the last 1% of roads that haven't been driven on? (Compass/radar that appears for 5 seconds every 5 minutes (to not make it too easy)

    You're right, I'm forgetting that TDU1 had limited challenge types (although the Car Deliveries had no time limit and the SP police chases had no time limit either). I'm sure it will be fine, and if some of the hardest races last 4 hours then why shouldn't the hardest chases and takedowns also last a long time.

    Yes exactly but what I meant is will we get bored with career mode at 30%, 50, or 90% completion?
