  1. $40 gets you access to the playable alpha demo: Road Redemption official website
  2. Larger slower spinning fans are quieter than smaller fast ones
  3. Long Beach Added Gratis Being in charge can be hard. You get held accountable for everything and are expected to work far longer than the average 9-5'ers to meet expected outcomes. So spare a thought for the evidently tired Dan Greenawalt as he announces a new free track for Forza Motorsport 5.
  4. TDU1 wasn't exactly modding friendly (encrypted, file size checks, etc) but look what became of that..... I wouldn't be too worried.
  5. In the meantime Harley maybe reinstall this and have a play
  6. Just played a little and remembered to take some screenshots Sonoma Rouen
  7. If this wasn't long enough for you, here are two other accounts: TDU-France [French] reddit: Behind The Scenes at Ivory Tower - The Full Experience : The_Crew and his Q&A My personal QA at Ivory Tower in Lyon, France : The_Crew MadManCK: TDU Drive Time View topic - The Crew First Impresssions So now you know why us staff have been more excited than the rest of you doubters about this game - the hardcore physics sound awfully promising for us wheel owners. I would also like to point out that Diablo was offered this trip, but he selflessly offered it to the rest of us (staff). If I wasn't asleep in another time zone I might've been able to stick my hand up before Soundwave :(
  8. Well there are 19 parts per car that can be upgraded, but don't forget it's going to take them ages to build the engine and pistones and animate everything else that you don't see in any other game.
  9. I thought we had a separate thread for last years E3 videos for TC but anyway, I just stumbled across this older E3 interview that I hadn't seen before, and it includes a few extra tidbits of info
  10. TDU1 had individual car odometers, and from your house you could go to info to check profile stats including overall milage (which unlocked exploration achievements). Don't see why this would be any different.
  11. Yeah I'd be against pay2Win as well, I was thinking of buying individual DLC cars (not the best cars, just extra ones)
  12. I know that whenever TDU1 on PC dropped below 37 FPS I crashed into things (trees, traffic, etc) considerably more. I also know that when racing games have been over 60 FPS I've been able to nail apexes and drive very confidently and consistently. So yeah it's kind of a big deal to me, and disappointing to see that they won't optimise the game on PC. Of course when they say 'PC' there's no way for us to know what specs they're talking about. The funny thing is that in another game, optimisations being made for the PS4 version are increasing performance on the PC (64bit) version. *orders 3 nVidia Titans*
  13. Great trailer, contrary to Tom's opening comments it shows new environments (forest), that freight train, nice engine sounds, and a sense of map scale. Funny how all the staff are very excited about this game but everyone else here isn't... you'd think we know something you don't  As much as I don't like microtransactions (and have never paid any besides normal DLC and a couple of TDU2 cars/tokens), if the base game is good enough I won't mind paying a little extra. Consider that you've still got people here that would pay to get TDU1 online again. I haven't watched that second video yet...
  14. The delay between when he hears 'fools' and works it out and the look on his face are priceless
  15. Whoever built the Spot Healing tool in Photoshop is. You just use it to paint over what you want removed and job done
  16. Ivory Tower have been making TC since 2007/8. Those images leaked and we assumed they were 'TDU2', before even that game was announced in 2009. Only later did we find out that a different team (using the same Eden name) were making TDU2, and in 2013 we saw The Crew and and who was making it (TDU1 team). The image content and artistic style much better reflect what we know about Ivory Tower than the TDU2 team.
  17. While we once thought that was TDU2 concept art I'm 90% sure it's actually for The Crew (which at this point doesn't have bikes)
  18. I would've ignored it, but if you're gonna say it that many times then at least check the spelling
