    Kind of a new type of mini-special, reminded me a bit of Mighty Car Mods in a way. No guests, no Stig laps - refreshingly different, even if the first piece was bit OTT, and did we really need to be reminded of Stig's 'violent' Chinese cousin (cringe)? The very last scene with the lipstick had me laughing out loud :lol: I don't think Matt has had any stunt doubles so far.

    Preordered the Galaxy S9 Plus 256GB to replace my Galaxy S6 Edge which is 3 years old and struggling to hold a charge for the past couple of weeks. Oh, and a wedding (cost more than I thought it would (for me), but we have also received more support than I would have expected). And a tropical holiday for afterwards.

    Just watching the video and it looks alright, just slap in some netcode (borrow from TDU Project Paradise community server???) and a tropical island and it's ready to ship, haha. Germany would be an interesting area, especially if you were able to include something inspired of the Black Forest mountain roads in addition to Berlin. I've played some of the Cobra 11 'Crash Time' car games on Steam and enjoyed those.

    Yep no complaints from me. The 3 of them are starting to get along fairly well, there's only a few moments of cringe but hey sometimes even your best friends deliver that in spades...

    Haha well played, sir. Although to be fair my life despite all the stresses is about to kick into party mode. with engagements party, guys night out and wedding + honeymoon all within the next 36 days.

    Many developers have to create content before they know if they will get the licence for it (i.e. will the owner say no, price it too high, or have unreasonable requests concerning their vehicles). I've heard of at least 1 manufacturer who put as a condition of licensing that their vehicles should not be seen following other vehicles in video trailers (always had to be in front). Thanks for sharing your research, I enjoyed reading it.

    I think someone on Top Gear once finished off a comparison by saying "they both lose". I can't think of any winners, but am inclined to agree with the assessment of FH beginning kinda ok and then getting worse.

    Everything about Forza makes players want to drive as fast as possible. It's just not as fun to cruise around slowly similar to what TDU1 enabled. All of those subtle touches that they, perhaps by accident, got right enough.

    Less than a week has passed an we have booked venues for the engagement party, wedding reception, drafted up guest lists, selected a colour scheme for the bridal party, and made headway into an online gift registry list. I thought these things were supposed to be hard to plan? Big to-do items are to get invitations out and then there's the small matter selecting a celebrant, bridal attire, cars, hair & make-up for the girls, etc.

    On Friday I took my girlfriend to the Royal Botanic Gardens near the city center and proposed to her while enjoying a relaxing punt ride (like a gondola) on a lake in the garden, while two of our best friends were secretly taking photos. Everything went perfectly to plan. She yes, after wiping away a few tears. We eventually stopped kissing and the 4 of us had a lovely dinner followed by watching 'The Mountain Between Us' at the outdoor Moonlight Cinema in those same gardens. After taking everyone else home I didn't get back to my place until 3am but that didn't spoil one of the most wonderful days I've ever had. My previous post was before all of this happened, so now I am officially engaged.

    :D Resolution achieved! On top of upgrading my monitor I moved out of home into my own place at the start of June and started dating around the same time. For 2018, I think I will stay 3440x1400. :cheeky:
