  1. There's an F1 survey going around Global Fan Survey 2017 I've basically let them know how boring it is
  2. I think they were booing at whatever governmental minister was presenting the trophy - they tend to do that all the time in V8 Supercars
  3. Don't "proper" watches have more than one hand? I guess the inspiration comes from a desire to know what time it is, but not in a massive hurry - besides that some retro car tachometer?
  4. Makes sense and am happy to play along with that but honestly I don't ever recall that being an issue with DGS and any previous incarnation. i.e. I'd say it's harder to make sure all entrants have remembered to vote for someone else
  5. I thought I was the only crazy person here who spent $400 on Windows 7 Ultimate  Thanks mate
  6. When your left hand spends more time on the emergency brake than the gear selector...
  7. Does anyone else out there have a much newer i5 CPU with 4cores + 4 threads? Interested to compare benchmark scores in Cinebench NB - I'm running a 4.1GHz overclock on this system, although Windows doesn't seem to report it. I'm also on Windows 10 (possibly upgraded from 8). New Ryzen 7 CPU's have been sighted with mutilthreaded scores over 1800 (which is perhaps apt given the product name) - this is of course only good for software that is coded well for multithreaded loads (such as video editing/rendering, and perhaps future video games that join the bandwagon).
  8. A lot of 'own goals' certainly are. It's a bit like volleyball, the more times to touch the ball and keep it in the air, the more electrified/powerful it becomes. When it hits the floor it looses that power, and if your team touched it last, then it is your colour, so it cannot damage your side of the arena, only theirs. Some players are so caught up in trying to touch the ball at any cost that they forget where the scoring opportunities are and end up helping the opponents.
  9. This new mode is actually very good fun, at least while most opponents are still trying to work it out
  10. Have you checked in the Options > Audio menu so see if one of the sliders is muted? Otherwise you may try reinstalling.
  11. Ok then. Playersave2 is more of a way for the game to recover from corrupting a save and not a proper backup. You'll have to go back to your previous backup. There are ways to modify car prices (buy low, sell high) to make money but I've never done that so you'll just have to search around.
  12. I don't have this race on my map yet - only just opened the final festival at Surfer's.
  13. You're on PC, right? In your Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\profile folder you should somewhere see a folder called playersave and playersave2. Back these up somewhere, then try switching them around (rename playersave2 to playersave) and see if that works. You should be regularly backing up your Documents folder anyway. What if you ever get infected with ransomware?
  14. I'll have a look later but my vote(s) will going to photos with lots of cars in them.
  15. Obviously the Golf isn't as fast on the straight, but I did have to think that if I were a rich but not necessarily talented driver there and I saw a 'cheap' car barrelling towards me with a corner approaching my main goal might be to not let this lunatic (not knowing it's Sabine) crash into me. But then again maybe the whole thing was scripted, seeing that we didn't see any cheap cars there at all.
  16. Someone suggested pressing PrntScreen in FH3... yeah sorry that looks awful
  17. Looks like I got you over the line there, Loz :) Awesome pic mate.
  18. Richard Hammond likes motorbikes. He has been riding since he was 16, has presented a TV show reviewing them (before TopGear), and has an enviable collection of two wheeled machines, including the famous Vincent Black Shadow - which you can see in this recent video log. Richard Hammond also, it seems, likes crashing. In 2006, he escaped death and battled with depression and paranoia after a high speed roll-over in a drag-racer. Has also had two motorcycle crashes in 2015, for which he blames other motorists. He said "I love riding bikes – it’s something I’ve done for as long as I remember. And I plan to carry on for a long time yet. It doesn’t matter how good you get – it’s other motorists who perhaps aren’t as focused that will get you. And when they do, it hurts. I got caught out twice last year, hitting the deck both times. I was lucky – not so badly beaten up." Today, news is spreading that he has had another serious crash while filming for The Grand Tour in Mozambique. He was knocked out when he hit his head, far away from medical facilities. Hammond’s co-star Jeremy Clarkson said of his friend’s horror motorbike crash: “He really did hurt himself quite badly.” We of course wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.
  19. Well at least Jeremy would've liked it (he likes the Mk7 GTI and dislikes the 911)
  20. and the game crashed again
  21. #myfirstfh3screenshot Quite a pitn to grab them from that Forzahub app though
  22. Another FREE mode is coming to Rocket League later this month! Dropshot is a brand new take on Rocket League gameplay as we introduce dynamic breakable floors and an electrified ball, all within the confines of a new hexagonal Arena, 'Core 707'. Instead of pushing the ball into your opponent’s goal, your objective is to destroy panels on the opposing team’s floor, and score goals through those gaps. Our new game mode is all about Damage! Along with our usual stats like Goals, Assists, and Saves, Dropshot introduces Damage as a statistic -- the more damage you do, the more floor panels break, and the easier it is to score a goal! Each panel can be hit by a ball twice -- the first hit activates the panel, while the second breaks the panel, creating a new scoring opportunity. The new ball has three different phases, each more powerful than the last, that determine how much damage is done when the ball smashes into the floor panels. The second and third phases are activated by multiple Battle-Car hits, so the longer the ball stays off the ground, the more powerful it becomes. While the first phase of the new ball only damages one tile upon impact, the second and third phases can damage up to seven and 19 panels, respectively. Check out the Dropshot trailer below! Along with Dropshot releasing on March 22, we have a host of other changes coming to Rocket League, including new achievements/trophies, painted Bodies and Rocket Trails, an Esports content button, the end of Competitive Season 3, a new Skill Tier hierarchy, and more!
