1. Password = mydrive It starts off boring but there's an interesting bit in the middle
2. Did you use a high cut/low gloss polish first, followed by medium then low cut/high gloss?
3. The only problem with banning them is that they might find a better game that we all like and ruin our fun therein. :cheeky:
4. No worries I'll be down there sometime this week - just have to buy some eggs first  :jk:
5. There's a few Melbournians around here - I reckon we'd let you spam one advert for your business :)
6. Thanks for the post. I checked some old photos I took after only washing the car on previous occasions and there's some decent reflection on the sides, and no marks or swirls that I can recall seeing (besides stone chips on the bonnet) so I've decided to leave out the polishing kit and get the other two kits for $150. All that ^ was covered in the clinic - was a great session. Does your shop fix stone chips/respray? I'd prefer a touch-up job instead of a whole respray but if you can do special rates for friends then I'd be somewhat interested. It's funny how much extra everyone charges when it's an insurance job. :p
7. Indeed it was, since I was able to find it and bump it without too much hassle. After learning all the basics intermediates of car detailing yesterday I'm thinking of buying some proper kits and having a go. My only concerns are: 1. Starting cost is quite high compared to just washing the car. 2. Time needed to detail the whole car would be many hours (nearly a full day for a first time) 3. Need shady conditions, preferably undercover, I don't have that 4. It'll just get dirty again later. Anyway, here are the kits I'm looking at purchasing. If you're able to cast your helpful feedback this way, please make use of the reply box below. :) Wash kit Lube & Clay kit Polishing kit Total cost is just under $400 delivered.
8. When people start saying goodbye, you have limited time to exact your revenge on those who crashed into you during the cruise.
9. It's funny seeing the accused cheaters post there
10. :fp: As long as the people working on fixing TDU2 are the same people who made TDU2 we're gonna have issues.
11. AMD always release first though, don't they? Patience is a virtue.
12. I asked if someone could upload something to MediaFire instead of five parts on RapidShare and received the following response :p First World Problems
13. EA tell SMS what to do to meet EA's target audience (kids, etc). With pCARS we tell SMS what to do to make us happy. Let's just say I haven't seen too many members there who don't have steering wheels. Anyone who dares call pCARS arcade incurs the wrath of Ian
14. Runs fine on my 5 years old PC with 2 year old graphics card. Some locations (i.e. pit straights) can slow it down a bit due to more buildings, etc - but they're not fully optimising weekly builds and will do that later.
15. You Juniors don't even have access to those brand new tracks yet - and they may soon hide more future content from you for good from what I've been reading (general consensus is that you've got more than you're monies worth). If you were planning on upgrading do it quickly, things are starting to get much more awesome. My wheel is working heaps better with the game with the recent updates to physics and FFB (which was completely rewritten last week to be direct from the physics, the only FFB they've coded in is to make the wheel heavier when you're not moving, as well as setting resistance to max when you hit full lock.
16. Here's another new Country road track - I haven't tried this one yet. Racing in the dark in this game is very fun and sometimes tough (esp when you haven't checked what button is mapped to the headlights) xD Here are some screenies I took from a replay last night: Screenshot Thread! - Page 269
17. Some screenies from my first try of the new Cote d' Azure track in Project CARS: This is what happens when you have crashed, destroyed your headlights, and lost the others who could provide some light for you: :p Fortunately I had the ToD speed set to 240x :) Mapped the headlight button and had another go :) Less then 3 weeks til new signups close so if you want to have a go hurry up, otherwise you'll have to wait for the full release near the end of the year (there's plenty of content/improvements being added each month)
18. Can't believe you upgraded to a newer card IN THE SAME series. :fp: I usually wait at least 2 years and then jump to the next high-end single core card. Never going dual-GPU again after the 9800GX2. Waiting to see some GTX480 v 680 comparisons/benchmarks. The reference card has 2GB of RAM but the various builders will also have versions with 3 or 4GB of RAM, so I'll see what happens there.
19. Don't worry, that idea seems less plausible from the discussions I've read. There will be a full game just like every other racing game, to be followed by DLC, which would be micro, expansion packs, something in-between, or a bit of everything. The sooner you join the sooner you can add to the discussion. Found a video of the newest track:
20. I don't modify cars though ;) A lot of the pics ^ aren't modified cars either.
21. And you can all blame Dashie for getting this thread split up. :cheeky: Continues here: Show yourself!
