Well TDU2 was announced in early March 2010 with no hard-set date, and that only took 11 months - so I'm sure this DLC will be released ssssssssssssss... ah forget it :lol:

I only wish I had a G27 for the smoother belt drive and extra wheel buttons for TDU2 indicators - otherwise I'm more tempted by the compatibility of the Fanatec GT2 and the rave reviews of the latest Thustmaster wheel. I've told myself to wait for the next batch of hardcore wheels before upgrading though.

I played GT5 for the first time in a month (btw I now have more credits than you, Jazzi :nnnn:) and completely forgot what it was like to have good force feedback. So I'm going to agree with the OP. TDU isn't a sim, but the next-best thing to driving in real life is a good sim based on an open world. TDU2 is still a WIP title if I'm hurtfully honest to myself. If dreams were reality, what would we dream about? :p

@Leadfoot If you pause in Freeride the car rolls, but in SP races the pause is instant. Hopefully they fix the free-ride pause momvement s**n.

I laughed at the 'I paid $60 for this game' bit despite seeing these parodies a number of times, but the rest was pretty dodgey.

Cool - Baldy will be excited. I've played ETS and enjoyed the G25 and TrackIR support, but the game got boring after I made my 2nd delivery :)

5 (Hardcore/No Aids) Aspects of TDU2s handling are technically correct, which is good, but the inability to display good car control is a disappointment. imo, there's only a couple of things they need to improve before getting us to re-evaluate. 1 - Reduce the excessive downforce/grip. This currently prevents most of the cars from gracefully sliding/skidding and and makes cornering a bit too jerky and unpredicatble. 2. Add proper force-feedback. TDU1 had great force feedback. If they can restore that in TDU2 it'll make evaluating the physics so much easier. 3. Bit of an off-topic request: It would be great if the Tuning shop allowed us to purchase/install dirt tyres for non-offroad cars so that you can do more than 120kph offroad. Not every supercar needs to be able to do this, but most of the sports cars would benefit. I dread having to switch to an SUV or WRX every time I want to go offroad.

And some emu's while I'm at it, perhaps? :)

I'm interested in WP7 but can't decide on a handset. None of them has hardware features that knock my Nokia N96's socks off. The HD7 looked ok but I didn't like how it's a clone of the older HD2. I'm hoping those dual-core phones come out soon and offer a bit more.
