  1. Yep Not like F1, this game
  2. Still trying to sus out the caution period rules here with some classes flying past the others. The rule preventing pit stops during yellow (besides emergency fuel and tyre punctures) is quite clever.
  3. Hard to tell with the guest drivers. Another caution period which should be over soon so should see some more good racing.
  4. Rene Rast did a good stint in the #48 Audi R8 Trying to work out which car # Shane Van Gisbergen is in (Aussie/NZ V8SC driver)
  5. Good GT battle between Porsche Ferrari and Corvette going on as the sunlight fades away.
  6. I'm sure between the lot of us you'll find fans of GT3, LMP-style cars, and North American race tracks (made popular by video games)... so with the 24 hour race at Daytona Road course starting today (Saturday), let's see if we can't generate a little interest and discussion in the 2015 season. There are 4 classes racing on track simultaneously = lots of overtaking, and potentially lots of crashes. You'll find more YouTube videos (including qualifying) here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC58em84jwiyM20qR-iqBDZw Live Streaming here: http://multimedia.netstorage.imsa.com/players/radio_lemans/index.html Live Streaming and Timing available here: IMSA | TUDOR United SportsCar Championship
  7. I'd be up for one too. Although I thought you prefer cruising on grass. Speeding through forests and meadows was often interrupted by waiting for someone to catch up :cheeky:
  8. was @ Vic who is limited to driving games on the X360, in response to Diablo ;) There was a a decent game called Supercar Challenge that had handling similar to GT5 Prologue (but I can't recall what the AI were like), but I've got no idea if it was on X360 (I had it on PS3).
  9. pfft poor guy :) Race Pro is kinda a sim, but I wouldn't suggest it as a 'fun' game. Maybe try Ferrari Racing Legends game as it had hard AI beyond the vintage era if I recall correctly.
  10. Practically any simulator on the market won't have rubber banding AI. You just want to invest in a decent wheel for them. For open world your only hope might be Euro Truck Simulator 2
  11. Perhaps Project CARS. All the cars are unlocked from the start, so you can just go to Race Weekend mode and customise the race you want. There's no rubber band AI. If you set them to a higher skill level than yourself, they'll leave you behind. The career mode is more about being a successful driver, getting noticed by other discipline scouts, and winning achievements.
  12. Possibility of using the HoloLens as a 'second screen' device when gaming. Or as your primary screen when away from the TV. HoloLens is and isn't Xbox One's answer to PlayStation 4's virtual reality headset
  13. If you have a map editor, why would you be interested in importing Ibiza? Why not create something 100x better? :) Ibizi wasn't great for cruising as there wasn't really much a circuit of great roads that covered most of the island, as I recall (it's been a while). Just some boring main roads/motorways with some random twisty roads branching off towards the coast.
  14. If you were more active here I'd rename you to BeFourth :cheeky:
  15. No idea how accurate this representation is of what their product can/will do, but it does kinda make Google Glass seem very primitive by way of comparison, even if the headset is much larger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aThCr0PsyuA What thinks you?
  16. Is anyone else interested in joining another season: CluB543 - Season 2 - GTPlanet
  17. 3 kart races
  18. Fixed. I guess this has 6 cyl's
  19. ETS2 has a more 'unlimited' game mechanic, but The Crew has a better unlimited map. Just need to find a way to combine the two. :mhmm:
  20. Never heard of it :hmmm: They'd have to be giving away a really good Need for Speed game for free on launch week for me to consider installing Origin.
  21. You could save a few GB by reading a couple of dev threads on the WMD forums :mhit:
  22. Depending on the programming logic employed, Windows 95 and 98 are Win 9x, or in checking code, simply '9'. And 9 > 8.1. This is why MS is skipping a new Windows 9 and jumping straight to 10. Not suggesting that this is what's happening in the case of TDU1, as you'd then expect to see the same issues with all the Win7 players. Older badly-made programs are the ones susceptible to this. There are better ways to check OS version these days, and more developers know not to take shortcuts.
