  2. Roger that, your laptop is cleared for take-off. Over. :)
  3. I was going to say that I died, but I couldn't because I was dead. :pf:
  4. That's why I suggested it, even though I didn't know what I was suggesting for :D
  5. Oh, so this is what you were on about in the chatbox :p
  6. Do I get bonus cookies for having the sign?
  7. Moved to TDU2 section. Now why couldn't you do that? :cheeky:
  8. Run a search on your whole PC for one of the files you expect to see, in case it's somewhere else.
  9. What car is that, reminds me partly of a Porsche (rear), Aston (hood), and Maserati GT.
  10. Can't be any harder than making a convertible people carrier :cheeky:
  11. Hehe, a similar older car wanted to take me off at the lights tonight, I wasn't in the mood at first but then figured 'what the hell' and poked the throttle a bit more to engage the supercharger. He didn't stand a chance :cheeese: I had the battery disconnected most of today while installing the rear view camera (that was really fun), which meant all the throttle pedal adaptions were reset, which meant the car was a rocket on the way home tonight. After that surge I was beating all sorts of other fast cars, Commodores, a Skyline, Lancer, and even an R32. As much as I would love a GTI, I would miss the no turbo-lag nonsense that the supercharger brings. Will try to get photos of the camera in action later, or might even try to get creative in mounting the GoPro on the way to work tomorrow since everyone (read: 2 people so far) is doing it. I saw one YouTube video where the guy had stuck it to his sunroof which I thought was really clever - probably the best reason for getting a sunroof :D
  12. At least you don't have to assemble it yourself with an Allen key :p
  13. Extract the first file (.zip), and it will automatically extract all the other files in order. This is what is called a split archive (one archive split across multiple files).
  14. It almost looks too good to be a simple truck driving game :) The environment graphics partly remind me of Crash Time and TDU2 (Ibiza), although it's been a few months since I've played either.
  15. Welcome. So you're from that Indian town where TopGear were recently. Who says TG isn't somewhat educational :p
  16. Anyone want a 50% off Runespell Overture coupon?
  17. Darn, I should've entered - then I'd only have a 75% chance of losing :p Would be nice if you reminded everyone of the theme in the voting threads for those who didn't enter.
  18. You'd benefit by not having an electronic pedal - so no lag, plus your car is lighter, and a lot of normal new cars are not fast by any means, which I was surprised to learn when I tested a bunch of hatchbacks back in Feb 2010. Your car is probably also twin-cam, I'm guessing, like mine was. I have a very similar intersection near my house - sometimes it's better to take the outside lane as it's not as tight, so you can get the power on earlier. When you're on the inside you have to slow a tad because the kerb sticks out a bit more than it probably should.
  19. Most of which are slower and less safe than my unassuming 1.4L Golf :) On a few occasions I've kept up with those R8 Holden utes when they take off from the traffic lights at speed.
  20. P1 is for 1 year I think, then P2 for 2 years, but if you get intro trouble (i.e. tickets) they can make you keep them longer. If you're a good driver you get your full license in 3 years (if you got your P's as soon as your turned 18, you're fully qualified at 21). There's a lot of young idiots with old fast crappy Holdens who can't drive and end up drinking anyway, so instead of better driver education they just impose more restrictions.... which they break anyway. What really irks me is the database of "High Performance" vehicles that P platers can't drive. For example, you're not allowed to drive a slow 1.2 litre 77TSI Golf (roughly 103BHP) because it's turbo charged, but you're more than welcome to drive the 3.2 litre V6 Golf R32 which has 246BHP. :fp: Even the diesel Golf's (which are ok to drive) are faster than that 77TSI. The only good thing is I have an excuse to not let my younger siblings drive my car, because it is too powerful :p
