  1. What, you've played it before? Hmmph. Just use the same car as in our screenshots - it was the default car chosen for me.
  2. Z5500D's has been fine for me, decent sound (depends more on sound card I guess). I think the only thing I've had to do was replace a fuse once, that might've been when the washing machine flooded the house.
  3. That's not their real name either. If I told you then they would... well if I told you that then you have no hope
  4. You know nussing! How do you know it's not a charade either? :cheeky:
  5. Here's one of my early attempts - the physics aren't that easy: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-NZmreVpyKTA/TuCf0V7PeSI/AAAAAAAAIPQ/7F6v6pNbp4Q/s800/Capture1.PNG I just use the Windows 7 Snipping tool (type 'snip' in the start menu) and wrote my name under the score. [+] Had another go after Leadfoot:
  6. To get a bit more gaming rivalry going on without having to worry about platform, it's time we find some cool flash games that have leaderboards and compete. The person with the highest score gets to pick next weeks flash game. General rules. 1. Pick games that don't take forever to play. 5-10 minutes is best (plus more time for however often you want to compete). 2. You must enter your name on the leaderboard the same way your username appears on these forums. 3. Post a screenshot here of your score, or what level you got up to. If you improve your score, edit your first pic. 4. Don't tease other members about how rubbish they are at a certain game unless it's Mellors. :D 5. If you win, wait for a PM, asking what game to use next week, make sure it's safe for work (lunch break). Week 1 - Drifting Championship - Winner: paradox8831 Week 2 - Crash Bandicoot 2 - Winner: ___________
  7. It's brilliant! Meh. I hate it, gimme the old one back. I'll cross two of them out when I get around to updating :p
  8. I'm guessing there's only a few cars and bikes because it will be free. There may well be more vehicles released around February that you have to pay for.
  9. I don't care about bikes, but I was expecting to see more than just 3. ZR1 was in DLC 1, so most of the work must've been enhancements, spots and clothing. F40 and FFB sound intersting, will probably be enough to get me to try the game out, but that doesn't mean I'll play it for more than a week like I did with the last DLC if the physics aren't sufficiently improved. Yet another waiting game. :)
  10. Nice rig DjDan - quite similar to mine (I have that chair on wheels (the executive one) and the G25. Keep the chair at my desk in my room, and can easily wheel it to the family room and mount the wheel to it.
  11. I never saw it because I was too busy racing :p
  12. pfft, that's nothing. When I went to film my video lap around there I had to restart about 12 times because of all the first corner shenanigans :p
  13. Stupid cats. Mine broke my guitar neck by making it fall a few years ago.
  14. Yeah I've been laughing at his screw-ups in the WRC this year. I'm not even sure if he's actually finished an event yet without crashing out
  15. What happened to your car in the 2nd pic? Someone cut the back off.
  16. ...as are the first two and the fourth one
  17. Keep in mind I've loaded new ECU software and fitted a sprint booster pedal adapter (changes accelerator sensitivity) - this was to combat some 'lag' in the go pedal as described on the forums for that car. It's not such a big issue in the 6-speed wet clutch DSG gearboxes as it is in my 7 speed dry-clutch, but then I don't have to pay $1200+ every 60,000kms to get the gearbox oil changed ;) I can easily change to stock at any time (choose ECU program before starting the engine, and can change pedal sensitivity at any time while driving as long as I'm not touching the accelerator). The SprintBooster is awesome in combination with the supercharger (almost instant acceleration even with a soft throttle input on the highest setting). Everyone who reads about these things always says 'just push the throttle in further', but it's something you have to experience to understand. If I got a new car I'd be looking for another ones of these within a week (depending on what car I got). The only people who don't really like these (ironically) are those who drive manual cars, as it messes with their heel'n'toe and the friction point changes.
