On the final day of the Rocket League Championship Series Live Finals Psyonix took the stage to officially debut a brand new mode scheduled for release next month, Rocket League Rumble! A FREE game mode to be included with our next update in September, Rocket League Rumble is an epic battle royale-style addition that comes stacked with randomized power-ups. Whether you’re equipped with the Haymaker (which punches the ball), the Swapper (which changes your place on the field with an opponent’s), or the Tornado (you’ll just have to see it to believe it), each one of the 11 new power-ups brings an extra dimension to the classic Rocket League formula. Check out the trailer to see the new mode in action and remember to watch the final season-one RLCS match-ups today and forever on Twitch.tv/RocketLeague. Like the “Hoops” and “Mutator” modes before it, Rocket League Rumble will appear in online playlists and Private and Exhibition matches. For the latter, you can select specific Mutators, including Slow, Civilized, Destruction Derby, and Spring-Loaded. The complete power-up list includes: The Boot (Kicks an opponent’s car) Disruptor (Forces your opponent to drive uncontrollably) Freezer (Freezes the ball in-place) Grappling Hook (Pulls you towards the ball) Haymaker (Punches the ball) Magnetizer (Attracts the ball to your car) Plunger (Grabs the ball via plunger and cord) Power Hitter (Allows you to hit everything harder) Spike (Attach the ball to your car when you bump into it) Swapper (Change positions on the field with your opponent) Tornado (Sweep up the ball and opposing cars into a giant funnel cloud) Source

If you race with other humans across the web you're more than welcome to share them here, especially if they're exciting to watch! ======================================================== In my most recent league race on PS4 we had a sprint round at Silverstone International (short), which is actually quite a fun track compared to the more laborious (mio) longer versions. Instead of an hour-long race, they're split into two. The second race is reverse grid and worth half points. Points are combined to determine overall round position, and then the standard points are added to the championship. Because I don't really have time to practice, I'm in the entry level division, where things can get a little more messy. However after an average qualifying session, I got a good break and then had to focus on defending against a faster driver for race one. In race two, I had a terrible start, but this meant more battles with more drivers which is much more fun to spectate (plus it has added 'thought bubble' annotations).

forza horizon 3 Forza Horizon 3: Garage Week 3 - Classics
Ryzza5 replied to TurboDuck's topic in Driving & Racing Games
I wonder how many of these rare cars actually exist in Australia (as in total numbers, not a yes or none thing) -
Almost the same but some other company purchased the rights to FSX. One key difference to the Steam edition is that it's 64bit now which brings performance benefits. Looks like they're making 2 new games as well. I guess most YouTubers will only be interested with a demo they can play. You might try going after ISR since they have a weekly news video. -
Quick review of the TV and soundbar: In short, very good. Does exactly what I wanted - completely eliminate the need for me to change inputs all the time. TV automatically turns on the soundbar and audio goes through it. I can cast audio to the soundbar or video to the TV from any phone or PC (even if they are on standby). Apps for YouTube and Kodi aren't far away. I can jump back to live TV instantly by pressing a 'TV' shortcut button or a channel number. The remote doesn't look like much but it's very well thought out for the most part. 1080p content on this TV looks way better than on my old 42" 1080p LG TV from ~2009, almost to the point where I didn't perceive a massive jump in pixel quality when trying some 4K demo footage - it's more the HDR colours that stand out in that case.

August 8th 2016 Changes - Forum Structure Shuffle

In fact, the real benefit of the gallery is that you can use it to host your images in order to display in threads on here. Removing the hassle of needing to find a good image host or using imgur and dealing with their compression. I was responding specifically to this. Lack of said feature is what would personally prevent me from using the feature in the way you want us to. The ideas and changes so far are great. Just trying to help (in my own speshul way) to prevent any potential 'why isn't this being used?' questions being asked. For those who may not have realised from reading the OP, filters are a great way to temporarily create any game title subforum you wish. Always wanted an Assetto Corsa subforum? You've got one!- 3 replies

Quantum entanglement? Isn't that where you finish playing the game before you start it? Or just start with level 13, then 21, then 4, then 8, then 19, and so on? :) /(bad Quantum Leap joke)

About darn time. Was starting to think that everyone I contacted didn't care the slightest. Well at least that proves that writing articles does in fact take a lot of time. :) The good news is that once one picks up the story, you can expect other sites to follow suit. Thanks Martin if you're reading this. -

At first I was all "why the heck do I care if tuning/setup is allowed for the weekly screenshot comp?" -
As amazing as it is we're still not at a point where one can stream games over their wired Ethernet LAN on titles where latency is crucial. Racing games in particular (steering wheels aren't supported anyway). Same deal with Rocket League, which otherwise would be a perfect casual use case. So I can't see that genre taking off just yet. Streaming older emulated games however sounds more reasonable - if the price is right. Don't charge a premium just because the game WAS popular 15 years ago or is considered 'retro'. I still personally expect relatively 'bargain bin' prices with a tiny amount added on for redistribution costs. I feel like I've discussed this topic before but my google-fu fails me.

Can you drag/drop 50 images into one's gallery here in one go? That's kinda why I've not looked beyond PicasaWeb.- 3 replies

Aren't such laws universal? Hence the popular term science 'fiction'? btw love your relaxing spaceman pic, that's just pure awesomeness.

Something is not right with that sun + reflection... * Is it that the reflection is perfectly equidistant from the main? * Is it the invisible middle part of the sun just above the mountains where clouds are not seen? * Or is it that the reflected palm trees have sun behind them and the real ones do not? (Obviously it's PS'd, but some are more believable than others).

I don't think I'm skilled enough to make enough of anything at decent quality but I do work as an IT Business Analyst/software designer so can offer to help in that regard, perhaps even menu interfaces if required. -

Wait, so you formed back in TDU2 days and didn't tell any of us? :) Good on you guys for having a serious go at this. I'll peruse over the details after work. The only thing I'm worried about is the possibility of many great ideas causing scope creep (slows down progress), or even worse, causes divisions which in the past have led to some other KS devs taking all the $ and running, killing the project. If project completion is estimated for Dec 2017 (keep in mind you may be up against a new NFS game then), do you know when early access is planned? If you need other forms of IT support let me know. -

Captain Sparkles in a Ford GT? That just seems so not his style. Good for him though. So Ford are just trying to be more like Ferrari now? btw Sound of the Underground wasn't that good a song really. Much prefer their version of I think we're alone now.
