DGSotW Week 23: Road Legal Versions of Racing Cars (1980-1999)
calster17 replied to Ryzza5's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Thats not a problem, as i said I though it'd be bending the rules a bit much (batting it out of the cricket field more like). :) Heres my pic, my oldest one from Horizon(first picture in my Horizon photo's page). Know Superhyper's using to Sierra as well though but was my second choice if the Esprit was't allowed. ;) Anyways here goes. Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 by CarbonCoffee, on Flickr -
It's breakfast ;)

I'll have a map with me and keep a list of places I drive threw. I'm not that stupid...also I don't know any languages other than English and some very bad German. I'll no doubt get bored driving down once I pass Edinburgh, turn off and head up the west coast of Scotland and head to the isle of Skye...as I know the roads well and like the place
-
Had a brainstorm idea, should give me something to look forward to and keep my mind off my problems. :happyroll: Some time in the summer I'm loading the car up, taking the passport and heading across Europe from Calais without a map and seeing where I end up after 2 weeks. What do you guys think?

If it's for games then sadly I'm out, don't get enough time to play them properly these days. If you wanted someone to do a 'retrospect' thing on older games(anything 6 or older) then i could help  With cars, I was't meaning my car, I was meaning many cars...I get the chance to drive many cars, as well as vans & soon to be HGV's.
-
Got to be at college sober sadly, anyways lunch is at the pub up the road from it so we all have a cheeky pint(or 3) then  Anyways, got enough for tonight then were buying a 20 pack of cans for the train back up the road ;)

And that's all that's known really.

Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently! - Part 2
calster17 replied to The Queen's topic in Automotive Discussion
Nope, the ZR/25 are Rover's own, Likewise the 75/ZT are Rover's own design. (albit with a bit or two nicked from the BMW 5 series). Only the 400/45/ZS are Honda based from that generation(not including the Rover 800/Honda Legend from the 80's), others the Triumph Acclaim of the late 70's/early80's(Honda Ballade) and the original Rover 200(same again), which later became the 200/400 based on the Honda Concerto untill the R3 gen of the Rover 200, which was Honda free. which later became the Domani, became the 400 which is what my Civic is based on. Your unlucky enough to have no Rover links in your Civic. ;) Sorry I'll put my Rover fan boy book away  Anyways, I saw another Renault Wind today, not million quid exotica but rare in the UK. http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z23/calster-17/Cars%20Ive%20seen/DSC_0042_zps00a29ef5.jpg Also I have a little thing for them...- 3,087 replies

I got a C in Higher History (Scottish education System, you'll know what its work Diablo), required alot of essay writing....without the dyslexia I think * Content/Subject(s) you want to write about: Cars & driving. Real cars & driving. * Blogging/WordPress experience? (not essential): Tumbler? Rants on here? An account I had on Blogger a few years back(swapped to Tumbler) * Examples of ANY type of writing: I got a C in Higher History, required alot of essay writing....without the dyslexia I think I would have gotten a B. (it's more, how to write a long boring essay rather than learning stuff). Rant's on here count? Got an article on the school website a few years ago. Sent a letter to a local SMP as well as HRH prince harry. (I'm not joking on that two, was for my Modern Studies, I got answers from both. Can do a good article on cars, driving and such(real driving), and if anyone's bothered to know I've got the 'Blown Turbos' video reviews with my friend, future plan is to do written small reviews on cars we test drive from dealers. Being honest, not joking about. :)

Down in Edinburgh for a few days, something to keep me going. 35Cl bottle, will last me till Friday afternoon. ;)
-
Yeah, it was really sunny & im not sure fully how to do effects on the camera. If I put a MG badge on it, it'd be when i do the front end swap with the MG ZS. Facelift or Pre-Facelift. And i'd only get the MG sawp insted of the Rover if I had a swapped engine.(It'd be one of the sportier Honda Engines!) So could end up a real hybrid

DGSotW Week 23: Road Legal Versions of Racing Cars (1980-1999)

I've got two pictures I've got to use. Now I'll ask as one's a car that in the game they use the 2004 edition, yet the car it's self was first made in 1996 and was the same until they killed it off in 2004. (It's the Lotus Esprit V8) Other is fine as from the 80's. Just asking and guess I know the answer but to be sure to be sure. :) -
:bump: Had a photoshoot with friends the Friday just gone. He wanted to try out a few things & we wanted some neat shots of the cars. :nods: I took this on my phone, but will have a pic or two from the shoot up here when I get the photos. Guarding the Fort. by CarbonCoffee, on Flickr 2 of the least interesting cars even to be in a photoshoot?

I think you've solved my search for rims. :D As Finding minilight's for a cheap price seem to be hard(worse for RS Watanabe's), also though of using the rims from the MG/Rover group as they'd fit on. (one set for the R25 looks a bit like minilight's). Still got a wee while to decide though as going to get the new suspension/Shockers & wheels at the same time after the MoT (October)...unless the rear fails before then  ( Advisory last time, and all the luggage ive been lugging about for homers won't be helping). As for the engine, we'll I'll see how i'm feeling when she hit's 100k on the clock. ;)

I got a stone fling at 70Mph by a passing S2000 Spec Proton Satria Neo last Saturday when I was at the Granite City Rally. To say it hurt was a understatement, and by far the worst injure I've had at a sporting event.
-
I do like your Civic, really do like what you've done with it.more I see the engine it makes me want to get a hold of the 1.8 VTi engine for mine. And how you keep Domo in yours, funny how the two Civic's on the forum both have a 'companion' in theirs, mine is Turbozilla. ;) What alloys are they, and what size's are they?

Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently! - Part 2
calster17 replied to The Queen's topic in Automotive Discussion
Actually, it's the MG edition of my Civic, just not estate and with the V6. ;) A really under rated car the V6 one, and rare compaired to the 1.6's & 1.8's. I've got a small amount of photos from the rally I was at on Saturday, taken on my phone and not from the state(Servicing on the night before). I let my mates take shots on the rally as they have fancy cameras.- 3,087 replies

Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently! - Part 2

Ah, that explains it. No problem with it and I see you've put it back. :Nods: If you(or anyone) doe's borrow anything again though and Im not there, just leave a sign in my house saying what/how much and who you are. In that case then nothing's gone missing from me. Also why is there a tonn of Chickens in my house?
-
I realized that nobody had stole the dirt, I found it in another box in my house. My bad on that one. But the pressure plate was gone, which has confused me as it's not hard to make. On another note, I've made a small stockpile of stuff that I'm willing to sell & swap. Some worth something, others nothing, I've made a small stall in the village. :) (The box there has nothing of value in it, so don't bother, and I know how much of whats in it)
-
Dont mind about the Dirt, my 'Dirt Drop Box' is just for storing dirt in. Im okay with people taking a bit but not emptying it out. And the Pressure plate was for my front door, so can't store house features. Lockable chest's would be good, I know Ender chest's can be used by anyone, but only you see what you put in it. But there damm hard to make.
-
I'm sure someone's stealing stuff, my pressure plate for my front door's gone missing. As well as the dirt I had in my 'Dirt Drop box' by my front door. :oook:

Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently! - Part 2
calster17 replied to The Queen's topic in Automotive Discussion
I saw a Ton of Rally cars. Ranging from WRC, Group B, S2000, R3, R2 and home builds. High lights: 3 MG Metro 6R4's giving it full. Seeing a Proton Satria Neo S2000 giving it full. Low points: Said Proton Satria Neo S2000 launching a stone at me while doing about 70mph...and the stone hit me in the crotch. Will have some photos later when my mate sends them over.(He's got a fancy camera and such)- 3,087 replies
