1. I was helping out at Lamborghini Edinburgh for a meet again today, some cracking stuff as always including the only Huracan Spyder currently in Scotland, as well as a Aventador SV Roadster in a crazy Pink-Purple colour, AMG-GTS and 930 Turbo convertible that's been a daily driven for the past 18 years! In the storage area there was also a green Aventador SV Coupe as well as a 430 16M, 2 360 CS'! (No pictures of them sadly, privacy area and all) As well as this, I was given a quick look inside a small storage facility for supercars. I can't say too much about this due to privacy matters and for this reason I have no photos from it sadly. But What I can say is a small selection currently in the place was 2 Enzo's, 2 F40's, 288GTO, 993 GT2 RS and a Jag XJR15! To say i was speechless was a understatement! Untill I get my photos from the camera up, here's a picture of my breakfast roll and the Huracan Spyder...
2. Haven't seen a Dimma of any sorts for years! Used to be a 205 kitted one in my area around 10 years ago... Decided to have a look and see if any were for sale, only one is... A 306 drop top, designed & made by Pininfarina (like the 406 Coupe) are rare enough, so this is a dubble in rare! :D £13,500 for this one on eBay. Apparently 1 of 2 Dimma 306 Convertibles in the UK, and it's also got a GTi6 engine in so will fair shift! Admittedly, i really hate the headlights and the colour is a bit too 'in yo face' for me, and the wide arch look doesn't suit the elegant lines of the convertible. (in my eyes) * I still miss my chance of getting a 306 Convertible back in 2014...
3. As Cool as KAHN make that 6x6 work, we all know it'll be used for show and thats it. (And cosr you a small fortune) Personally, I'd go with one of these old military spec 6x6's that would be cobbled by the special division, essentially used as a mobile communication unit. Also alot got made for use on safari's and such like. :) Off topic I know, but this is't.... It can go anywhere, including rivers. Be used as a house and has a V8. What more do you want for £25,000? Link for the ad, here - OT-64.
4. You should know that the circle of people that myself and Me go about with have a wide variety of cars. :cheeky: Said Impreza, Freshly imported last year is a WRX STI Ver-6 Wagon. (One of 500). Was near enough original other than factory spec stuff. Now Popping out 330hp or so thanks to the re-map, on coilovers and has traditional 'scooby spec' exhaust. I should stop taking this off topic from Me's OMGa!
5. He'd been looking for a barge for a while, maybe partly thanks to me having the LexBarge... It's an old person's car for sure, to the point he's getting a tartan blanket for the parcel shelf. Also, it's been 'raced' on the 1/4 mile within a few weeks of him having got it...
6. So i guess that Me™ wont mind me taking over this thread...my dad is now the owner of the 'Snotmobile'. How? Nothing to do with me actually, I only found out while massively hungover and 5 mins away from Me's house. My dad wanted me to come along to look at a car as although he knows his stuff, his hearing is't what it used to be. When I asked what car it is, he handed me the print out and I could't help but laugh as of course it turned out to be 'The Green Machine'. My dad is loving the car, and that's always a good sign. She is a worthy replacement for his old 406 Coupe! Now this of course means that Me has another car. I'll leave that to him to tell. ;)
7. Porsche in shock move with regards 911-R production & Prices... Porsche have said this suprise move has came about because... Full story here. And I'd check your calendar as well.
8. As expected, keeping in the sprite of things they've been doing for the past few years.Just with a different presenter line up. And that's a good thing. :) Wondering if Harris, Reid, Schmitz and EJ will be in it all the time or just pop in every so often for features.
9. I'd be keen for a Sunday night/Afternoon/whatever it is your part of the world "muck around" session or something as well! Remember back when to Forza 4, would spend just a bit of time racing and the rest of the time dicking about! I've not played online other than with your guys for the league, so does it still have all the mini games or have they been pushed over to 'Horizon'? On another note, I was't last and felt my car has a somewhat fighting chance! :D
10. As always, will try my best to make it to them all and defend my winning streak for last place. ;)
11. In the crazy world of motorsports, this is called "Heritage"
12. Honda Yuasa Racing is now officially Honbda Halfords-Yuasa Racing, thanks to co-signing Halfords as the new title sponsor! The car so far for testing... Yes, looks like they forgot to add the stickers. why is this a big thing? Well Team Dynamics (Who run Honda's BTCC Op's) and Halfords have some history together... With the DC5 Integra... Which caused a stur thank's on part to the fact the car was't offically sold in the UK (But it was in a round about way) And the FN Generation Civic's Funny how thing's go full circle at times...
13. Give's me an excuse to post this of 'Abba' then. Only had her a month and already washed her myself twice... Which is odd for me, so I'm guessing it's 'New Car Syndrome'. (Also the fact with it being small it's easy to wash, unlike the HMS LexBarge)
14. Bothered turning on the PS or xBone, so thi'll do for now... <<Entry Post>> Dunno which game I'll use, maybe see how the photo mode in Mad Max is! (Would be allowed? Mostly a driving game?)
15. Another month, another Forza 6 car pack... The car that most people will want, Ferrari 488GTB Another random US based racecar, the Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype (#10 Wayne Taylor Racing) The Vintage racer, Alfa Romeo P3 The well known classic, Mercedes SL280 'Pagoda' :nods: The mandatory GM based car that all the pack's so far seem to have featured, The Opel GT. The Fiat Dino 2.4 Coupe And last but not least, the Group C racer that is the Jaguar XJR-9
16. Sorry I missed the race, had a bit too much to drink on Saturday and still feeling the effects now... Seeing the choice of cars, i may have an actual chance! Is that the only cars allowed or can it be any that fit into the class?
17. I would. For us Brit's, it's in a league of it's own, but it's a head over heart choice. Sure there is alot of cars in the £35,000 or under price range, BMW 135i, Subaru Impreza, Golf R, A/CLA45, Focus RS, etc. The mustang is't a choice for everyone, but for us in the UK no other car is in the same class. It's the cheapest new V8 you can buy with 'bang for your buck' right out the dealership. Sure the other cars I said are more practical, better for lap times and economy...but the end of the matter is if your even considering one then they are not of concern. With something 80% of UK buyers having ordered the V8, with a manual coupe. My guess is it's 'actual car guys' who are buying it or people who are getting it because it's the legend that it is. Your likely going to get stopped at petrol stations and asked about it, or while loading your shopping into it at Tesco's. Everyone loves the car, with the Mustang name being as iconic as Ferrari! (as any non-car guy, they will know what one is). I've thought these things out well, I nearly plonked a wod of cash and 5 years of monthly deposits on one....
18. Just a small one from today... All hail Rolls Royce, king of the barges! :boss:
19. Last time I bled the brakes on a car was the MR2 well over 6 years ago! Really just pneumatic brakes at work... Thats actually an epic idea though! Speak for yourself...
20. Is also on 70 or 80-something as well, and generally loads much quicker as well! :)
