Hello and Welcome to my Traffic Car Collection
Herewith I present you my (still) small Traffic car collection.
All my Traffic Cars are 100% compatible with my Traffic Pack and TDU Platinum
At first, there's not much new at the moment. 😄
But I hope that I can fill the list a bit in the future.
I've had some cool ideas for a long time, but I couldn't realize them due to lack of time.
The two cars BMW X6M and Caddilac Escalade Platinum which I created several years ago have been completely redesigned so that they now have the look of my Traffic Pack. I have also fixed some things on both cars.
Fixed the big rims, it was kind of ugly The wheels were wobbly Working Transparent Shadow (I will also do it later in my Traffic Pack too) And some minor adjustments, like light, reflections, paint etc. The 4 Topics to my different traffic cars will be deleted and are no longer available.
The two other traffic cars (Ford F150 and Cadillac CTS-V) which I created several years ago are already part of my Traffic Pack and will therefore not be included in this list.

Description
Even if it's called "Editor", this tool is a toolbox to export your files in your favorite 3D editor (maya, 3DS max, blender,... any editor as long as it's compatible with .obj) and obviously do the opposite. 😛
This choice as been made simply because I didn't want to make the usage of a cheap and badly written 3D editor an obligation. 😄
.obj has a pretty basic structure making easy to build an object from nothing.

TDUF package is a set of tools and libraries, which is able to:
Check Bnk1.map contents and update it with new files in Euro/Bnk folder. Extract the whole TDU Database to JSON files (a human-readable format, ready to be processed by many tools and languages, including Javascript). Rewrite the whole TDU Database from modified JSON files Check and repair Database for integrity errors Help to understand file formats and read/write data from/to them Provide a Database Editor user interface, which wide range of features (not limited to TDUMT/TDUPE ones) and more to come! See zipped-in README.html file for details.
Requirements and notes:
From 2.0.0 version, you will have to get TDUF package which will suit your needs : if only using command line tools, head to *core* edition if only using DatabaseEditor, head to *databaseEditor* edition if you don't care and wanna get all features, head to *full* (=without mention in file name) one. Working with TDU Platinum. Not tested with vanilla or other mods. Replaces Pontiac Firebird WS6 Trans AM in TDU Platinum (probably Chevrolet SSR in vanilla TDU).
P.S. My first time modding with models and took less than a day so it's rushed and far from perfect. Hope you like it anyway.

This is a personal project I've been working on throughout this year, and although it's not complete yet, it's in a good enough shape that I feel safe enough to share this with other people. Consider this mod to be an open beta - provide feedback if you run into bugs or balance issues, and make backups!
Vintage Platinum is a submod for the 1.21 version of TDU Platinum that rebalances the game to be set around 1986-1987, featuring only classic cars from the era - normally only available in Class G in regular Platinum (as well as a few non-G cars that were in production by '86), now redistributed to various other classes so as to make racing progression feasible in regular gameplay. I created this because I'm personally a big fan of older cars and, after playing games like Driver: Parallel Lines and Motor City Online, had developed an interest on the concept of a racing game set squarely around the 1970s-1980s, centered exclusively around the sports and performance cars of the late 20th century prior to the 1990s. Obviously, creating a racing game from the ground-up is an unrealistic task for a sole person to manage, so I decided to make a submod for Platinum that does it, as it already has a rich enough selection of era-appropriate classic cars to choose from:

This mod comes with Patch 1975 bundled as a download, so you are able to replace the 1990s-2000s traffic with something more period-appropriate. Patch 1975 was NOT made by me - it is an old mod made by the OAHUCARS team that got nearly lost when their website went down, and all credit goes to them!
- INSTALLATION -
You need to also download the Music mod.
Drop the "Bnk" and "Radio" folders in your TDU installation folder. As stated before, make backups, or you will have to reinstall Platinum again when you want to go back to the present day.
Do not put the Documentation folder in your game directory, it only contains details about the inner workings of this mod and the ramblings of a madwoman with a special interest in classic cars.
Patch 1975 has its own instructions. You may need Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 for the installer to work. If you're playing on the Steam Deck or Linux, just install "dotnet20" through Winetricks on Wine or Dependencies on Bottles. Again, make backups!
- KNOWN ISSUES -
As stated earlier, the mod is not feature-complete yet as I haven't had the time or energy to complete it, but right now that largely applies to the Vehicle Transport missions as I haven't fully replaced every car with them (it's an extremely time-consuming task), as well as the possibility of a few races not being properly re-balanced (which I would like feedback on, so I can properly fix it). Additionally, various vehicle dealerships still show modern cars parked in front of them. All of these are (relatively) minor flaws that I plan to fix eventually, but as mentioned, they are extremely time-consuming to do.
Besides that, however, there are multiple drawbacks with this mod that you should keep in mind, and currently they are completely unfixable as there's nothing I can do about them - the most important one is that you cannot achieve 100% progression, because several Courier, Hitchhiker and Top Model missions still require you to use modern cars and haven't been rebalanced to accomodate for the slower cars; as far as I'm (and other experienced TDU modders are) aware, there is currently no known way to edit those missions, which means there's nothing I can do to fix it. Additionally, of the Vehicle Transport missions I did edit to feature older cars, a surprising amount of them are bugged and have a completely chromed paintjob for some reason, which I can't figure out how to fix yet.
Please keep those factors in mind when playing with this mod.

This mod allows you to drive on Dillingham airfield.
This mod adds a collision surface to the far north-west airport of Ohau as well as sharper cleaner Hmap textures. The runway also has some markers for 1/4 mile and 1/2 drag racing. The airfield is enterable using the slip road already present in the original game, the barrier has been removed.
Installation:
Extract the Rar into your tdu directory.

I may make more changes to this when I get a chance, nothing is truly final.

Replaces Test Drive Unlimited's UI sounds with the sounds from the PS2 port when applicable. For those who want a different soundscape, or want more of the PS2 menu experience.

If you use another countdown replacer mod and wish to keep it, you will have to add them to this file with TDUMT. If you don't know how, there's instructions in the Readme. This file contains a version with my Gran Turismo countdown replacer in it.

Known issues/inconsistencies
Some PS2 sounds don't have an equivalent in the 360/PC version, and vice versa. (For example the difficulty/reward popup in the PS2 pre-race menu) Audio sliders use the in-game menu navigation sounds even though they have a separate entry in sounds.ini, so I opted to use the in-game menu SFX over it. If you spot any missing/out of place sounds, feel free to report it. I'm unsure if I'll be able to get some online-exclusive SFX though, if there are any.
Recommended mods:
Redwave's PS2 menu music. Because TDU PS2 has an awesome soundtrack, and this mod goes hand-in-hand with it.

A: Maybe...
Q: Can i request you for new Traffic cars?
A: No!
Q: Wich Cars did you replaced?
A: I replaced all the cars wich you can see in Stock TDU or TDU Platinum
I replaced the cars with a nearly similar size (optical size) like the stock traffic.
Q: Is it compatible with TDU Platinum?
Yes my Traffic Pack will always be compatible with the latest version of TDU Platinum
Q: There are some hidden Traffic Cars you have not replaced. Do you plan it?
A: No! Because you need a different AIConfig.xml to unlock new traffic but this causes sync problems
in multiplayer if some other guys use the stock AIConfig.xml
Q: Have your traffic cars new paint?
A: Nohh 😕 .... but i'm working on it. Some weeks ago i was testing it and it works but not proberly.
If anyone knows more about it... tell me 😉 ......or.. do it by yourself, because i hate coding 😛
Q: I found a car with a weird Bug can you solve it?
A: I need a picture or a description of the Bug than i can decide it to fix.
Q: Sometime bigger Cars pop up after they come closer
A: Thats a Problem of the game and the collision file i can't solve it because
i can't edit the collision file.
Q: Some Cars has clipping bugs. I can drive through sometimes at beginning and end of a car
A: Same Answer like the popping Up Vehicles, its a problem of the collision file.
Q: Can you activate light textures for Visibility in nights?
A: No because game has no properly working nights and all the necessary Textures are busy.
Q: Can you remove the Lightflares?
A: Yes but i'm won't. I let it in because it's better for the Traffic visibilty at the distance.
If you want to remove them you can use my light_fx.2db texture to remove it.
But Attention this remove the complete lightflares on every Car in the Game!!
Q: I have a problem my cars are looking like a Monstertruck when i crash into it.
A: Dont switch the traffic vehicles among themselves it causes optical problems wich i cant solve
Maybe if there come more cars later, replace it only with traffic wich is scheduled!!
Q: Can i share your Traffic Pack on other sides?
A: Yes but use my Credits please. 😉

For correct operation, you need a Fix Map in TDUMT!
My "Real Water Mod" is already attached!
In this archive, these files have a different size from the original. The registry checks this and will not start the game until this error is fixed. To do this, you need the Magic MAP Tool. The easiest way to use it is to download TDUMT 1.10.2 or 1.13 and there press MAP Tool -> Fix All

I would like to present updated soundtrack for Test Drive Unlimited Platinum. Thanks to Milli's work on this great mod, I worked on this fix with pleasure.
Why and for what?
Well, while playing TDU Platinum it seemed that some songs had very poor sound quality. They sounded wrong. Then, I discovered that some songs even had incorrect ingame names. So, as I knew how I could manage this, I made this fix.
Features:
-Updated music quality (MP3, 48,0 kHz, 320 kbps, Stereo). It was maxed out as possible to work ingame;
-Corrected/added information about songs and its positions in .station files (file name, title, artist and album(radio name));
-"It just works".
Download (982MB) is available on Google Disk. Instruction is included.
What do you think about it? I will be glad to read your reviews.
P.S. Also I think it would be great, if these fixed files were included in Platinum mod.

The magnificent roar of a 5.4L American V8 motor! I merged TDU1 and TDU2's Ford GT sounds together. This includes the supercharger whine, and the RPM note closely matches the real one.
I guarantee you, it sounds sexy.

Andraste Modding Framework
Andraste, at it’s core, is a generic modding framework, aiming to bring a modern toolset into old (DX 9) and modern games alike. It does so by injecting a .NET FX Runtime into native applications, allowing us to code the framework in a safe language (C#), which even opens up the possibility to write code modifications in .NET languages, that interface seamlessly with the native code of the game.
Note: While this is in the TDU2 category, Andraste can also be used for TDU1 and potentially a lot of other games (unless they are 64 bits or have some protective anti cheat system)
How to run Andraste
Andraste comes with a UI Launcher and a bundled version of the generic framework (in the most recent version). That is all you need,
just start Andraste.UILauncher.exe, create a profile (you can have multiple profiles and quickly switch between them) and you are ready to go.
You'll want to click "open mods folder" to download/add mods to your profile and then you can press "Start Game".
If your mods don't come in an andraste ready format, check the below "Converting a Mod into the Andraste Format" and contribute the file to turboduck 😉

Converting a Mod into the Andraste Format
First, make sure that you have the permission of the original author to convert/upload the andraste version of the mod.

What can I use it for, at the moment?
If you managed to convert a mod, you can now use (and remove!) these game mods, without changing your unpacked(!) base game (the game needs to be unpacked, because the VFS feature only replaces existing files, it doesn't create packed files yet).
While this feature may not be impressive yet (besides removing mods without having to have a backup of your game folder somewhere), there is much more possible with that technique, but that takes manpower and time.
Internally, we're currently using the scripting functionality to find out more about the game and progress on different fronts such as multiplayer or asset manager, so definitely stay tuned for further progress, at some point, we will release the TDU2 Modding Framework, that is an additional layer on top of Andraste, providing TDU2 specific features (patching files inside BNKs, running on a packed game, hot reloading, ...)

In short, added features like TDU2 GPS map, new GPS hud, IP TDU menu, IP car plate... will give this 4 year old game breath of fresh air. General overhaul will most likely keep you entertained long enough till the real deal, TDU2 come out in few months. And that's not all, as we continue to go toward v1.0, Full Edition will get even more features! So stay tuned!

Re-Uploaded from the forums & Here it is, a nice and sexy texture mod for TDU !!! The Shell gas station remix !!!
This work is inspired out of the original work of Iced_Bullet and Carda's to make them look more familiar when using fuel mod.
Plus, for the ones using fuel mod, here is the map bookmarks to find the gas stations locations in-game !
