I would very much prefer other modders not to touch my mods. I lock them for a reason. I think I can speak for all modders or ex-modders spending a lot of time (weeks or even months in my case) for car mods, which don't want some randoms to fiddle with it. ZModelers locking system is garbage anyway, so it's a matter of respect at this point to not reimport and rework released mods from others. Rules has no respect for anyone, I already see that by the trash he releases with the sole good features being my inventions for car models blatantly ripped , yet again, I will not accept randoms to re-release my mods. And the windows are not synced online afaik, so you would not see it on other player's cars anyway. yes because the final gear ratio was not changed. It's normal gearing behaviour This is her right to decline that if she does not want to take your money, it still does not mean you can expect her doing things for you. If she does not want your financial support, you still have no right to demand anything from anyone. You can export single car slot rows or wheels or anything from TDUF. You don't have to send whole database files. If one will take contributions, they can easily just import this single slot rows into the DB. That's how car mods were distributed for over 10 years at this point. Again, does not matter. If she does not want to accept your financial support for work she does, then you still have no right to take anything for granted. It's Millis mod, not yours. It's Millis time, not yours. And it's her decision, not yours. -

It is model related. The rotation of the needles are determined by the location of the dummys in the interior 3D model file. There is no quick way of fixing it other than trial and error, and since this is not efficient, it is not worth the time. You have the gearing data of the real world car all over the internet. Just upgrade the OS, install TDUF or TDUPE and enter those exact values for all gears then? You cant just upgrade one gear and expect it to work. This is how gears work. Everything is connected. You have 7 gears and a final drive ratio, all those have to correspond with each other. Again, you have no right to demand anything of a work you don't pay a dime or a second for. This is a volunteer project of some individuals doing that in their free time. You absolutely have no rights for a demand. You can request and suggest, but you can not demand anything. And your cheat argument doesn't really grip either since vanilla players have the same issue you described then. I already explained everything about "demanding". Milli does not have to do anything you demand, and you should not expect your demands to be fulfilled. Please step down from your high horse. But what stops you to contribute work for the project then? Expecting stuff to be done from volunteers but not contribute anything yourself but demands is helping nobody. -

Quite busy with work, business, other projets and misc real life stuff. Barely have time to do anything. I worked on some custom parts which are not worth showing and this wet paint shader. The parts are not fully mapped so its missing on some areas, but it turns out cool. It's also animated. License plates are being generated now. They either follow a random combination in preset pattern: Or can be customized fully in text (excluding prophanity) and length: Here's the plate format concept I did for it: The environment is being reworked by an environment artist friend and will be something like that: Some docks in my hometown of Berlin, Germany, in moody, foggy weather with a bit of drizzle. Currently working on the customization UX of the license plates. After that, the wheel editor will follow. Very UI-sided project. Slowly but surely making progress. -

Yet again, it is not worth the time. The models are not made by Milli and it's not really her responsibility either. She does not *need* to do anything. You can easily do that for your own game. You have the tools, you have the research power. If you'd like to do changes on the game, go for it, but do not demand it from others. The input is appreciated but please drop this demanding tone. We are talking about Test Drive Unlimited, not Assetto Corsa. The cars were grippy in the game since the beginning, this is an arcade game. The physics engine is 15+ years old, and was pretty mediocre back then even. The price cars are always free, and there are quite a few. Nardo is one of them. They don't have a price. They are always at 0 but you can not obtain them normally. -

Sounds like a DataBase or Bnk.map issue. Try to download an ISO of TDU and replace the euro/bnk/ folder with fresh files. Or if you don’t want to mess with ROMs, reinstall it freshly. make a backup of your existing files beforehand however. -

Because, if you mean platinum, the file is like 6GB of data, turboduck does not want to host 6GB of data and neither does any hosting provider let you upload 6GB of data at once for free (Except MEGA but this thing is kinda sketchy too and blocked in some countries). Torrent is the easiest way. It’s P2P download. download uTorrent or something and open the torrent there. There are plenty of seeders for Platinum. -

Helo I had some difficulties with the project in the past (time-wise and code-wise) so I decided to redo it from scratch. Since I am a bit more structured and knowledgeable when it comes to coding a game than I was when I started this thread, I basically rewrote all features I needed 2 years for in a month. I will share pics soon. Right now I am working on the cars, and since I have absolutely no clue about JDM culture, I wanted to ask you guys for help. My demo will feature a couple of cars of different cultures and tiers, and one of them is the Nissan 240 SX. Since I, once again, have no idea about JDM besides that some look really cool, I need an overview of popular visual mods for it. I know of pandem rocket bunny and stuff, but if you have more knowledge which bodykits, bumpers, spoilers, bonnets, exhausts etc. exist as popular mods for the model let me know. Another idea was to use a Toyota Chaser or Mark II Tourer (I like how they look like) instead but there are barely any 3D models of it, let alone customization parts for it. One more contender is the Honda Civic, but yet again, I have no idea about customization about it. I intentionally did not pick an R35 (I already have an exotic tier car in, which I consider the R35 to be) and the R34, AE86 and Supra would be a bit too obvious and too common for a halo tuner themed car in a racing game so I take a bit of a different approach. Side note: the muscle tier car will be a 2006 Mustang GT, but feel free to suggest other stuff for it. Keep in mind that it has to be a model which has at least a few modification options available. So please dont suggest something like a Challenger Demon because its pretty much a modded car from the get-go and barely has any visual customization options. Tier 4 is trucks and this will feature a G-Wagon. Mainly because I have all custom parts for it prepared already Sorry for being gone for so long, but real life hits hard sometimes. E: pics of like 2 weeks ago. Will post more recent somewhen later this week, but barely anything is difference except it has now all materials and tires. -
dude, the screenshots look insane for a TDU title. Compared to old titles obviously. I mean in the grand scheme of things it looks like an average video game detail amount, but for TDU this is truly revolutionary. Can't wait, honestly. Let's just hope the game will be worth playing despite being pretty (totally not a The Crew reference, no no)

you can buy (or crack, I do not recommend, but I am not a cop) zmodeler 2.2.6 and fix the 3d models manually. this might break other stuff though since zmodeler 2 never worked 100% with tdu, 98% at best. about your second question: theres no solution as far as i know -

extract all files, launch exe, search for the database folder, open car slot. The peformance change itself is self explanatory. Just change the numbers of the categories. -

No need to bump. If there are no replies, then obviously there is nobody who can help. World editor barely ever worked and I don't know if anyone except Speeder ever managed to make anything useful with it. I have no experience with the tool, and neither has the majority here because the tool simply is not ready.
