They announced and moved it so often, everyone lost interest in it already. I am like the biggest GTA fanboy on this planet, but I wouldn't buy PC version before it is able to be modded. And I also don't care about Heists anymore, as this won't give back the year I've been waiting for it. :( Damn you, R*!

Oh, okay I see :D Nice! Would be a great project to put NS in TDU

Nope, never. :hmmm:
I once spend a week for a walkthrough of Dead Space 3. At the beginning I wanted the game, then I watched the complete walkthrough and never thought about it again, untill now.
Walkthroughs and Live streams are rubbish in my opinion, as you just loose your time and interest in the game
I am so negative, ain't I? :mhmm:
That's why I first play the actual game, and afterwards watch videos about it, if even.

That's not a Cosa :) The Corsa is the racing version of the MC12

The mods for GTA IV are rather extremely highpoly, extremely lowpoly or the geometry sucks in general. TDU Modders are perfectionists, and rather the model is perfect and we will make it, or not. I have to admit, I got some of the models of GTA IV, also had permission of some modders to convert them, but the models are awful. really.

You have to run the patch as administrator

Sup guys and gals, can anyone finally make a tutorial how to add files into the game? :D
-
Both is possible
There also are tutorials how to make it. Just look around here a bit
-
Zoqqer, making 3D parts is way above my set of skills for now, at least parts usable in TDU. I've used Solidworks before, but I don't think it is the easiest tool to make complex surfaces. And when I asked about the time you guys take, I meant the time you actually spent working on the mod. If you spend 6 hours each day I doubt it will take a full two weeks to complete... but what do I know?
When I mod, I don't work less on a mod than 5-6 hours a day, there are days I even spend the whole day, like from 11 am till 1 am the next day. And when I take all the time together - from model preparing with all the brakes I do and the days I don't mod - it takes a month untill release. When I just take the actual time I actively mod on a mod, it sure takes a week. Even if not, it's close to it. That's why it the quality of other modders cars which finish a mod A DAY just CAN'T be super good. They just disrespect all the individual details the real models have, as this details need 1-2 days to research. Modding is a routine, and they just use every scene set up the same way - which can save time of course, but that does also mean the mods differ just from the main look of the car model.

Bugs:
ZModeler did not let me export some things and made the game crash without any reason.
If anyone can help me with that, feel free to contact me.
-missing low resize dummies (second player will float outside of the car)
-interior camera view can't be installed manually, further instructions how to install it anyway you will find in the readme file.
-other three camera views are not set up (TDU do not support SUV's)
This is indeed not my best mod ever, but it took me weeks to figure out why the mod is crashing, even longer to fix it, and cost me all my nerves.
I hope you still will enjoy it.

Why? LOD_0 doesn't contain this parts.
That's what I said too.
Only the Lods1-5 got race bodykits (which are front bumper, rear bumper and spoilers) -
Once the Exterior is import to Forza S. , We have to delete all the race parts of the model The parts with a "b" or "c" at the end of the name parts are also race parts. It depends of the model you working on.
I got to correct you, "b" and "c" (and "d" and "e" and so on) are aftermarket bodykits, not race parts. Only the Lods1-5 got race bodykits (which are front bumper, rear bumper and spoilers), LOD0 mostly got only wing and front bumper. Don't know why, but you can't upgrade race rear bumpers in the actual Forza anyway. So it's a bit of a missing feature which is already in the models I guess.
Most of the models have only a rollcage so just simply delete the rollcage. Don't forget to uncheck "a_pillar too as it's an exterior part and we already have that part in the lod_0.Obj. Then Export it as "Cockpit".
Dont't forget to uncheck windows, mirrors, hood and headlights by exporting interior.
Now the shadow. Same process for lod_0, delete all the same race parts with the wheel and export it.
you could also seperate the lod3 interior and exterior if you want to be precise, but it's not neccessary tho.
I'm doing a Ford GT for a training model to understand modding. I've paused the Jag because I want to make it perfect.
I wouldn't reccomend to make the Ford GT for a beginner, as the striping can become really tricky to make. If I would suggest a beginner car, I would say something totally basic which don't have many features. I think a stock Ferrari F430, BMW M3 of stuff like that. But I'm not saying it's impossible to make, so good luck!

Alright guys, so as the members in our WhatsApp group already know that, I want to say it in the forum, too.
The situation in this forum with all the beefing and the extremely annoying users (yes I am one aswell, that's why I write this) gave me to think. It's a shame what TDuck become now. You know how much I gave for the community since 2008~2009, and I want the people to know this. Without being arrogant, I try to treat every user with respect (not in the last time, but I will explain this in a moment), and at the end of the day I want to be treat with respect aswell. In the last time people became disrespectful, and I don't feel comfortable with this anymore. Call me how you want to, but the basic of being active in a community is to feel comfortable with the users, and not expecting to read something negative you write anything. If I want this, I'd rather go to Instagram. The thigs I've seen in the last days, and which I recieved from more or less known users (not only the one private conversation which was leaked recently, which I do not feel ashamed for, this need to be said), made me make this decision.
I will still releasing the G65 this week on the forum, but this will be it. I will still upload my mods -if I will still make any- on my website, which is listed in my signature. I also will stay in the whatsapp group if nobody will kick me from there, but the time of my community releases will end by the release of the Mercedes G-Class. Like already mentioned, call me how you want to, send me bad messages, neg rep me, delete my modder badge or ban me completely - I just wont notice it.
At this point I want to say thank you to all the friends and nice people here, who helped and supported me. To Speeder for Project Paradise, Minime for being a teacher and a great friend, Diablo for being the nicest admin evur, all the guys helped me with my mods by testing, researching, code writing, sound development, textire artists, and everyone else I forgot. I also wish all the best to the current, comeback and future modders for both - TDU1 and 2.
Stay strong. TDU for life.
See you with new cars in GTA:5 and the crew.
All the best - Zoqqer

Sat for the whole day to figure out what is wrong, at the end of the day - this is definitly a glitch with the export filter of ZModeler2. This time the aniamated aero parts were the problem. I deleted them, it worked, I added them, it was crashing again. The dummies were working without the 3D objects / with one poly. This is strange and I got no idea how to avoid that. I will try it again tomorrow.
-
Now this is weird - it is exporting and importing properly now, but still crashing :mhmm:
-
I am not making an installer, I tried to import a new car, and even the first import is not working. This is the first time something like this happens to me :(
206 fan: I just reinstalled the game, and the only things I had installed were the Patch 1.66, Project Paradise and my file. It is still crashing. So it would crash in your game aswell.
EDIT: But I found the problem, it's something with ZModeler, the file it is exporting is completely empty, although it is 2 MB big. I NEVER had this before, and there is nobody I can report this, as Oleg do not work on ZModeler2 anymore.
EDIT2: http://forum.zmodeler2.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6268&sid=1fa94385436bb7c259159cb0ad72c803 - Exactly the same issue, although all of my dummies are correct named.

The police car problem happens, as color sets are assigned to the slot. You could try to make an uninstaller and delete the colors for the slot. I've never tried it though, so I don't know if it works.
