True, I wasn't even thinking of illumination, just the light flares  Still I would put up with just the flares.
You need to make the game understand, the basic cars got indicators. First of all you need it 3D shape. Like materials or flares. For the flares you basicly need to add a new game code into the engine telling the it "make flare XY go on and off once per second by pressing shortcut AB". For the materials it's more comlicated, and you would need Oleg to write a new export engine for ZModeler. Not enough with that, the game need a texture with a color to know what should glow by doing what. At the moment it is like that: Blue = high beam (works only by headlight materials [LGT_F* (LIT)], red = brake light, green = reverse light. As you can see, this are the BASIC colors red, green, blue. Other colors like pink would contain red and blue, and this would mean this lights are brake lights AND high beam (I hope you understand it so far). And as it is impossible to ADD basic colors, the only solution would be to use tail light materials and blue color. PROBLEM - You have got indicators, in the headlights, too. Next thing is you need to edit game codes AND add a new shortcut to it. And I can't imagine this is that easy, or possible at all.

There is none of such mods made for TDU
-
Edit the models is possible. Time consuming, but possible. Now, to make blinkers work, i think the hardest part is edit the game codes and etc.
Of course it's possible, but nobody will take so much effort for this. So I say it directly, without making any hopes. Hard, but it has to be done :gmc:
Hi Guys !A BIG thank all the mod devs for their hard work !!! I`ve been waiting to play online for years !
But i`m having some problems here and I cannot find an answer for that. I original game and so with the car pack. I installed the game and patched it successfully to 1.66A. I run the game and making new profile, trying online but I see on the map that servers are unavailable. All the hotkeys working well F5-F10 but there are no real life oponents :( Of course I copied dll file in to my game installation directory.
What I`m doing wrong ? Can Anyone help please ???
Thank You !
TDU Forever !!!
You need an online profile to access online.

You would need to edit EVERY TDU 3D model, and even MODS. So, nope, not possible.
-
You have to create an Online gameplay before. Just create, choose character, choose a rental and close game. Then you can transfer your savegame to the new online savegame and you got your old savegame online then. I did that, too, and it worked like this.

Is it possible to use an existing offline profile to somehow play online?
I mean, I had pretty much completed the whole game (except multiplayer achievements) with a lot of cars and the whole island explored... It'd suck to have to go through all this again.
Please don't say it's not possible ;(
There is a way to corvert it, you need a HEX editor for it. There is a Tutorial somewhere, just google.

- i have a lot of car mods and all of them have different physics and color schemes. can i play online with those mods?
Yes
- are there other cut features to be implemented like the fuel system? i remember there was a video about an unused car wash. not only it didn't do anything for your car, but also the girls gave a rather creepy smile, kind of like Aphex Twin. The fuel system is not a cut feature, it's completely new.

It's just a small detail like the rpm gauge; it's not powered unless you press the ignition.
Oh okay, didn't know that! :) that's sweet

JPTH recently edited some TDU files, making a few cars get the performance upgrade level 3.

It's self-refueling when you turn off your car and turn it on again :) Would be cool if that would be like this in real life tho :cheeky:

Not untill it's possible to mod the Xbox one. It could take a Month. Maybe a year. Maybe it won't be possible at all. But not any soon.

Dude. Not supposed to attack anyone. But quite up. It's not like we are saying go do this do that. This are IDEAS and questions if this is possible at all. I would try it myself if anyone told me how to. I personally ask Speeder always if this is possible, I support the project as much as I can. I try to work on the project, even if I just got a small, boring job to make a list of consumption of every TDU car. When it helps, I do anything for my favorite game. I would be the least guy to force anyone to make something, as I know how a) annoying and b) difficult it is. I am happy about Online, but it's not that we should stop working on new features.
Jeeeeez.
no Helmet Mod ?
