1. Thanks, i have almost got the exterior finished. So at my pace it should be done by about Christmas time. :D
2. Testing a new method for number plate lights.
3. Looking into the lights there is an issue. The indicator light is actually the day light strip as well. So to make it work i would have to render a texture to look like chrome just so i could light it up. As TDU doesn't do reflection of materials. There is a layer of glass that catches the light as well as it bouncing of the chrome material. But again like the RS6 it would have to be a compromise as i can't have both. 4.
@Minime891 sorry it might take some time since I'm rewriting the tool from scratch (with missing file format support, like .uva and .pmi). :D
No worries I'm just curious with the state of it.
5. Use TDUF Djey: TDUF Toolset [1.12]
6. If all modders threw in the towel when they got results they weren't happy with i'm positive we'd have no modders. Try reaching out to other modders from other games etc. What i have always done is try to learn some thing new when making each car. That way you can only get better and not stay at the same level with each mod. But if you're not enjoying the process of making mods then personally i'd stop too.
7. @StarGT Okay you're right, I must have dreamt the issues i had when working on the Unofficial Patch. :D
8. In a lot of cases as well it's because mods are missing the BODY_HR object/dummy which can cause issues. I found this out when working on the unofficial patch.
9. Just messing with baking the Ambient Occlusion map into the vertex paint. It's very subtle at the moment but it makes a big difference in game. It stops the paint looking so flat, it will be more noticeable on the front bumper.
10. @insaneone The best thing about living in the middle of nowhere is the peacefulness and nature you get to see everyday.
11. I sent you a message saying i will do it, unless you're not the same person that asked. Anyway i shall do it tonight. ;) EDIT: Make that tomorrow. :D
12. It's just TDU Modding Tools. As you don't use 3DsimED i guess you will just have to scale them until they look correct.
13. I guess you're not using the version of the tool that it was introduced. When you import the rims to 3DsimED do it separately other wise they will be flat like they are. Or you can just scale them.
14. Yes and i told you that the stock tdu2 gauges use 1 mip map there for you have to save the texture with them. Look i saved the stitching on the steering wheel with the correct amount of mip maps. As you can see it's actually how it's meant to be. Also why you don't want to use those shaders?
15. I overlook the meadow and the Yorkshire Dales.
16. Here you go. Merc_Logo.zip Also another tip is that when you convert your dds to 2db you need to take 2 mips maps off the value it shows. This is how all stock tdu1/2 textures are, it stops the textures from messing up at a distance and in some cases disappearing like the stitching. This is because the mip map go to 1*1 and 2*2 which is so small to hold any detail at all.
17. The interior seems more grey than it should be imo and the chrome round the air vents is black but maybe it was asked to be done like that? Another little thing is you should use the textures that forza does, example below.
18.
@Minime891 Please make that HUD to me.
Sorry for the late reply, i shall get working now. EDIT: There you go. Just set the cars rpm to 9000 and should work fine. If you want it changing just say so. ;) audi_rs6_avant.bnk
19. @MichaelB450 i think once you start to get more knowledge in sound modding you will notice that some car sounds aren't linear. And to be able to edit the cross over point in the rpm range will be invaluable in making great sounds. As for changing the red line it's not that hard as i did it with the F50 sound mod Jorge did. @binbow I could make you a hud that is 360° so you could see at what rpm it cross overs.
20. All i can think to say is thank you for all those years you put into TDUC. :duck:
21. It's embarrassing how bad my mods were. Nice mod, though it does seem a little cheap for that much HP. :D
