Please, help fix

It seems for some strange reason that the folks at Atari decided they would like to see the color purple on the steering wheel of the Edonis. Could someone please giv me a downloadable mod or something to change it to a realistic dark grey or black? When i bought the megapack, i was sooooo looking foreward to driving the Edonis. Now, I'm afraid to set foot in the driver's seat.:ill::(:o:imwithstupid::drool::badspelling::-x:sulk:

try reinstalling the megapack. Perhaps you just had a glitched install :)

I'm not a modder, no. Only texture mods :)

 

Okay, uhm. We're a bit hesitant about giving out megapack files, due to piracy. So we'll try whatever we can to fix it without giving out one of our files.

 

Could you grab a screenshot of the problem, and perhaps we might be able to provide you with some more help. Cheers

hey, i saw a video on youtube. it is suppose to already be black. i don't know how to un-install the megapack completely from my pc dell computer. could you help me?:ill:

 

I already tried looking in "change or remove programs"

I think you have to remove it from the computer, because when i just re-installed it, it was the same.

Unfortunately, to uninstall the megapack, you must uninstall the whole of TDU. (make a backup of your profile, first though.

 

Then once TDU is installed, load it up (without patching)

- Create a new game

- quit TDU

- Put your backed up savegame back

- apply the 1.66a patch

- Load up TDU

- make sure its all working

- quit, and install the megapack

- load up TDU again.

 

If you still have problems, then it must be a dodgy installer.

The patch that allows you to play online, get it here. Click on "Download latest patch". ;)

I'm sure the megapack only works with the 1.66a patch, Maybe i'm wrong.

No need to install 1.66 patch before, Megapack updates the whole game to 1.66 anyway :)

I did every thing you told me. it's still purple. i attatched a word document with the picture of it.

He does not mean the actual steering wheel which you hold, he means this:

there is a small purple ring in the middle, which he wants Grey/Black, it is not a Megapack problem, I own both the 360 and PC versions and both had this.

Sorry, but I can't see why that stops you from driving the car. I even think it's supposed to look like that.
