Awesome! I've never thought one of you guys would have caught this car on the roads :D

So where/when did you spot it, CF?

The red leather looks okay and not too distracting in real, it'd have been better looking in brown though. But how can you complain based on the rarity of this car, eh? :p

And thanks for the replies!

The photo is blurry cos it was taken around 6+, almost 7pm, as well as the fact that i was in my dad's car at the time. Was at the junction where Alexandra Road starts, the car was turning right like going towards the Tanglin area. Can't remember when this was taken, maybe a month ago? Saw this right after seeing a green and black 997 GT3RS

^ That will be the evening when the Rolls was being driven home from the Malayan Motor Rolls Royce/Bentley workshop. I was in the car too, with my dad driving :D

The car has only been out 1 more time (at 10pm last Saturday) since then, it's hardly being driven, sitting around in the carpark collecting dust :p

On another note though, the next, and probably final, thing to do on the car is to source a CD-based GPS navigation system, which the dealer doesn't have. Is there any website I can find CDs for Alpine Rolls Royce nav systems?

Ran the engine while sitting idle for 5 minutes tonight, after sitting there for 1 week. It really should e used more often, or not? :P

^ After we bought it, it had some slight restoration/checkup/maintenance of the engine and mechanicals, 2 sessions of thorough cleaning of the interior, and some fixing of the slight blemishes here and there (i.e. the rubber window seal that's cracked and making whistling noises).

It's bound to last forever (albeit being a bottomless money pit)! :D

Story:

My dad let one of his employee, the company's account manager, drive it around for the boss (while he was here for a few days), because he said it was tiring work to drive such a big car.

Even before the accounts manager had piloted the car completely out of the parking lot, he turned the wheel too quickly, and caused the car to grind against the adjacent pillar! :|

No insurance claims, since insurance premiums without bonus discount is nearly SGD$20,000 a year, and no claims bonus transferred from my dad to the car is 50%.

So in the near future, it will pay a visit to the Rolls Royce workshop, where the car will hopefully be restored to its former pride, albeit at extreme high price (think about the paint, which is two-tone)

Looks like it's going to an independent car body workshop this weekend! Not going to the RR dealer, since we don't want expensive bills again :P

I'm sure they'll do a good job in ironing out the dents and scrape. But my question is, will the color matching be 99% perfect?
