I'm proud that Poland is where the fall of communism started (August 1980, Gdańsk Shipyard... in fact yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the first democratic presidential elections, which were held on 4th of June 1989).

^Well, the last time I've been to the Polish seaside was back when I was 3 or 4 (me and my family prefers going to the mountains, even though we basically live in the mountains :p)... so I might not remember that :p

Anyway;

Our endless array of microbrewarys making different real ales, loverly. Got some stunning countrys pubs around aswell.

Our comedy. It is simply the best in the world.

Add to that British cars - sure they may not be made with British money any more, or even in Britain, but its the designs and what they stand for that still sticks around.

And lastly, but most importantly, the greatest export in the planet's history - the English language. Think about how many people can speak English around the world - and they say Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world? Pah!

I can't think of anything even REMOTELY interesting that I'm proud of.

Maybe other than the fact that walking out of the house after midnight, is not a sure way to get mugged.

Oh and that gum is banned.

I'm proud of the fact that because Singapore is so small, going car-spotting is tremendously easy. Also the fact that because Singapore is so small, getting anywhere in the country is also tremendously easy

This is such a great highway comparing it to roads and other highways in the city.
