I'm going with the XC90 - It may not look the best, but it's very practical and a brilliant family car, and you know your safe when you have that volvo badge on the front - Plus the XC90 is cheaper to run, although slightly more expensive to buy.

 

Could do with being revised though, its starting to get old.

Volvo. It's a very safe, practical, sensible family car and doesn't look half bad. I'd say its design has aged pretty well over the last 7 years

Volvo and Jeep cannot even be included in the same conversation with eachother, let alone compared. The Volvo is light years ahead of the Jeep and just about every single aspect. The SRT8 model of the Jeep does have a performance edge over the Volvo, but that's the only thing.

Volvo. I have to admit I prefer the looks of the Jeep. But besides that I think the Volvo would probably excel.

 

I've been for a ride in a top of the range Jeep Commander and if this Jeep is anything like it I think I'd definitely prefer the XC90, infact I do anyway.
