noob question - online mode?

Hi,

Im struggling to find how to actually get online - ive read the manual, but found nothing.

- Do i need an account somewhere?

- and where is the 'connect' menu?

Update:

Ive started a new game with a gamespy box ticked.

So - how do i connect to say...a online crusie?

 

Can anyone give me a pointer?.. 37views, surly someone can :/

Well once you've created your gamespy profile, lauch it. You will have a box saying "Connecting to TDU servers..." or something like that. Then you follow the tutorial and get outside your house. You are now in an online cruise. You just have to wait for people to connect in the place you are. Sometimes it's long, TDU online free ride is not really well orptimized.

No you can't. If you want to play offline you need to create another profile. I think there is an option in the free ride menu but I don't really know if it works (last time I tried it didn't).

You could go to Options - Online and untick "Turn on Online Interactions", or so I've heard, I'm not sure it works, haven't tried it ;)

i just cant get online, i have the newest version but it all ways says tdu servers unavaluble. HELLP!!!!!

Aren't you the guy who used the illegal megapack?

If that's the case, then your CD key (even though it may be legally bought) has been blacklisted.

 

Nothing you can do except buy another game.
