First public outing of the One-77

On the annual London-Silverstone rally the One-77 makes it's debut appearance leading the pack of supercars all the way to Silverstone race track. Top Gear followed all the way in The DBS Carbon Black :drool::excited:

The One-77 is alive. Aston's £1.2m, 220mph, 700bhp hypercar got its first public outing on Friday, leading a monstrous posse of supercars from Central London to Silverstone to celebrate the opening of the new Grand Prix circuit.

 

Naturally, TopGear was in the second car in the convoy - a DBS Carbon Black, since you ask - for the full journey, and a few hot laps of Silverstone.

 

We thought we'd get a few photos up here to give you a quick idea of what went down, but make sure you check back next week for the full story... and some astonishing video...

This car is truly stunning and it's almost as if it's too beautiful and delicate to drive :p

Must say, the One-77 looks much better from a "real life" perspective (as opposed to an artistic photographer's perspective). I'm starting to like it. :)

Yes, I do agree white is the only colour for it. And Penfold, if it is there, be sure to take at least 100+ photos from every angle xD. There's several vids on YouTube on the rally and if you follow the TopGear website they've hinted at putting up videos of the hot laps behind the One-77.

They really seem to have toned down the design from the monster that it originally was. Less obnoxious now IMO...
