Requests from Forza 3's full car list.

After looking through the full Forza 3 car list on the official site, I think there's quite a few cars that need to be converted that nobody bothered to think about.....

Keep in mind, I don't expect any or all of these to be made, this is just an idea list for the modders so they can stop making the same cars over and over between them. It seems kinda stupid to have the same car made multiple times by 4 or 5 different people.

I need to add two more....

I know there's a Pagani Zonda R mod already made, but I'd like to see it and the Zonda F from NFS Shift redone without any carbon fiber on the outside of the car.

I've seen some fully painted Zondas and it's a beautiful car when it's all one color, or at least done in complementary colors instead of half charcoal CF.

Yeah,

You're right Kurgan777,

Porsche 959 MUST be in TDU.

We could race in F40 against 959, like in Test Drive 2 The Duel (oldies, oldies.... but all good games come from 80' & 90' ;)).

Please modders, RELEASE US THIS FABULOUS CAR !!

I really don't think the 959 would have caught on as much as it did if it had not been "unobtainable" when it was blocked from import into the USA. The myths surrounding it were legendary, like "it's too fast for the cops so they won't allow it into the country", to "it's got no bumpers so you'll die if you crash it".

The stupidity coming from people who didn't know about cars was monumental.

Because the whole car list is 500+ cars, and some of them have already been done, and others I don't want at all.

I posted this to give modders ideas, specifically that some of the older cars need to get done instead of the constant focus on cars made after 2000 that were either already in TDU, or are just the next year's versions of TDU's defaults.

The Aston Martin DB5, this rightfully should've been in TDU by default, it's James Bond's first gadget filled car.

The 959 should've been on someone's project list by now, that's been a most wanted car for a very long time and it's one of those "mythical" cars that everyone wanted, but could never have.

To date, nobody has done a decent "HachiRoku" AE86, they've all had various problems, or worse, loaded down with bodykits and wings and carbon fiber everywhere.

The Toyota 2000GT, another Bond car, it was in "You Only Live Twice", though not Bond's own car in that movie. It would make a perfect replacement for the Jag E-Type, or a perfect replacement to race against it with similar physics.

Also, it's just a huge waste of time for modders to all do the same cars, there's no reason for it really. The only reason it's being done right now is a lame competition with each one silently saying "I can do better than you can", and it's childish to say the least. If all the modders were working from the exact same information, I guarantee that nobody would be "on top", the playing field would be drastically evened out.

Maybe we should mention, that the prozess from rhd to lhd isn't a 5 seconds job. Ofcourse after a few clicks & seconds, you have mirrored the model in Zmod2. (attachment) BUT, for my taste, a mirrored rhd isn't a proper lhd car.

There are lots of things, that can't be mirrored. Speedo / steering column / switches for turnsignals/light/ventilation/radiator / radio / .... and so on ... these things have to moved and partially detached & edited, to fit into the mirrored dashboard.

The texture must be edited. For example: mp/h <--> km/h

It's not a hard job, but don't let the impression created, that it would be a matter of 2 minutes.

Best regards,

fan of the legendary Lotus Omega :)
