I finally got my copy of Gran Turismo 5 this morning. I haven't really achieved much on it at the moment, I've completed the B-Spec License and done the Sunday Cup, Karting Special Event and Top Gear Test Track Special Event in the VW T1 Buses so far. People seem to make out that the T1 Bus race is a pain in t'arse when I found it quite straight forward :confused:

 

I'll start by showing the first car I bought. It seems I've turned into a hair-dresser :oook:

 

My thinking behind this choice was that I can't afford anything quick, the beginner races aren't that fast paced so ideally I need something that can go around corners quite well compared to a Toyota Yaris or similar.

Photos didn't come out too bad, I'm still working out all of the settings and stuff on the Photo Mode.

 

Now I remember how much I hate red things on the internet. The paintwork looks dodgy in some places when it didn't on my TV.

Nice pics. MX5 is pretty nice. You uploading them or grabbing them straight off the PS3 using a USB Key.

 

Should get my copy tomorrow. Cant Wait!

Cool they look amazing anyway but i think the USB key is the way to get HQ images.

Nice choice of cars! I was considering the RS6 Avant briefly as my GT5 "supercar," but I'll probably go for a Viper ACR or a McLaren MP4-12C. Still, you make a good case for it! :)

Thanks, y0. I'm still trying to work out all of the settings in Photomode, maybe I should pick up my real camera once in a while, I might learn quicker :p

I actually think the Tesla shots look the best and most realistic, mainly due to the lighting. Great shots!

I like the Tesla shots, kind of a nice alternative to the cool, but very out dated Elise.
