Backing up?

I have gotten really far on my tdu profile and I would like to save it. Any tips? Also will my save in 32-bit xp work in windows 7 64?

Go to My Documents > Test Drive Unlimited > savegame and make a copy of the folder that matches your username.

 

All your photos, bookmarks, and custom radio songs are in there as well.

 

It'll work fine in Windows 7 x64

I'd take the whole Test Drive Unlimited folder just to be sure. I don't know what they do, but I don't want to mess up the .dmp file in the Test Drive Unlimited folder or the ProfileList.dat in case they are important. Better be safe than sorry. ;)

dont risk losing everything by keeping it on the same drive, use a Flash drive for back ups.

2GB is MORE than enough for it, and should be able to handle a few other game back ups as well.

 

if you have the Mega-Pack, send that to the Flash as well

I haven't really had to back mine up in a while since the only thing I do in the game is cruise online - nothing really worth saving.

duh! I found it after I installed the game. I needed to have the root folders be created by the game before I could find them! Thanks!
