Pre-orders' Items

Okay basically,

 

I was wondering you guys know that from different places when you pre-ordered TDU2 you can get exclusive items. Now are they only exclusive to you like limited time or FOREVER. As in will everybody else (that didn't preorder or buy a special version) be able to get them at some point ? Like the casino, Black Ed. V12 aston, Bugatti SS and so on ?

 

If no then that just sucks :/

Maybe some of this items will be available in mega car pack,maybe not.Who knows.But even if that happens we will have to wait year or two for that.

I think they have said their goal is that they should be available (for a price) to everyone within 60 days of the game's release. I don't think they will manage that, there are more urgent things to take care of at the moment but only time will tell.

mmmm games do this all the time i agree with u it is balls but it also makes complete sense from a profit angle. they already got ur money if u pre ordered so why bother catering to u ur not gonna buy it again :/

the pre-order cars will probably follow the sales model for the already available dlc on atari's site. I doub't they will release it in a "mega-pack" since they would be forced to make packs for each of the retailers, removing the car they added for pre-order (e.g.: steam would have to have a pack with the zonda tricolore removed from it, since people who pre-ordered the game from them wouldn't be interested into paying for it again.)

 

They will probably release each car alone, which imo is better. They can make megapacks with other dlc stuff.

I love the tricolore and the Bugatti SuperSport and I wish I could drive them :( Hope DLC for these "preorder" cars doesn't take too long. I have faith in Atari.

You can buy a few DLC cars (or paintjobs, as I call them) and the Casino already for PC DLC.

 

I'm not going to get the Casino until I know all the bugs are fixed with it. I used it a bit in the beta and it's not my sort-of thing - plus I never managed to win the Audi R8.

 

The other cars will show up over time. Remember you have to buy the cars in-game as well. I've got a Veyron SuperSport that I've redeemed, but in game it costs $3.5million. That's more than the most expensive houses (besides yachts).

for example, I already have ALL of the exclusive vehicles on my disc.. we just need to find a way to activate this content

60 days is the rumoured time frame, after which you'll have access to the all. The casino as mentioned previously is already available.

all versions have all the exclusive content on the disk. otherwise people from different resellers wouldn't be able to see each other's cars while driving.

 

About activating the content, dunno what you mean by "find a way to activate this content" if you mean by yourself, you are out of luck if you plan to play the game online. Once you redeem a extra content key on atari's site, it gets linked with your account, forever. Pretty much like steam.

 

On my account on tdu2's site, under products there's a list with what i have activated, on my case is the tdu 2 beta and my zonda tricolore

I simply meant in terms of modding, there is a way to activate the content, we just need to find it..

(those of us who wouldn't mind risking the online capabilities/permissions in trying it vs the sheep)
