What car is this?

Hey guys. Over the road, we have a neighbour who fixes up cars and bikes.

 

Recently, this one rolled out the garage and has been belting up and down the hill for a few days.

 

The front end looks very similar to a BMW 8 series. But the back I have no idea of.

 

Anyone have a clue as to what this car is?

I looks more like an old Skoda to me :lol: BMW 8 Series seems to be bigger than that.

 

:hmmm: I saw a "What car is this" thread on some other forum, it was a game though. A person shows a photo of a car, and whoever guesses what car is it, has to show an other car and so on. :p

I think it may just be because the lights and black thing aren't on it...

Yeah, that's an X1/9. :) Does he mod his cars or keep them original?

 

@Andi: If you're talking about the inlets in the middle, those are the mounting points for the bumpers. ;) And the "lip" around the indentation is a chrome piece that's not yet mounted.

He keeps them original as far as I know. He also builds custom choppers. The one he's got now is a rather deep shade of purple. Looks really nice, sounds good too!
