What's your resolution? My other tester had less and less problems as the beta progressed. I might not even be able to do anything about it.

I shared an album of screenshots that I took of your skin on my desktop via Google+. If you found me on Google+, you'd probably find the album.

 

It shows all of the weird bugs that I experienced with your skin.

I do have you on G+ and I have done what I could do accommodate the errors. Those screenshots were from really old versions of the beta, though.

Good news, I gave a DeviantArt member (who also makes Android things) permission to try and resize it for his laptop. I also said if he wanted to release it, he could, as long as he gave me credit. :)

 

Keep an eye out for that. :D

I don't know if it works with your resolution though. Seems like 1366x768 is the most popular laptop resolution.

It may help you to know that the ppi of my monitor isn't very high. It's just a cheap laptop with improved internal hardware. So the screen is only sub-par. I don't know what you could do about it, but I haven't had problems like this on any other skin that I used. I use about five skins in unison.

 

I'm working with the smaller version now. It's way less crazy than the bigger version. I think I may just talk to the guy who modified this to find out how I can edit this to fit my resolution.

I can't use that skin either. I'll just have to get one modified for my resolution.

I changed the OP so that now it's more of a gallery thread, instead of a build thread for just one skin.

 

Anyways, I'm now working on another skin that will hopefully satisfy those that can't use the full Android skin. I got the idea from a DeviantArt member who created an iPhone 5 skin. Since I quite like Android, you might have guessed by now, my new skin will be a Galaxy S3. I'll get some WIP shots to post s**n.

 

Also, I have not forgotten about the Android skin. There will be an update pretty soon that fixes a number of bugs. :)

I'll try it this week on my pc. Hope it's not hard to install, because I remember Rainmeter being too complicated for me. :hide:

Thanks! It's not hard to install, should be just a few clicks. Setting up the skin might be a bit weird, though. :hmmm:

I've downloaded it and I ffs can't unlock it. Tried clicking on everything and it still doesn't work. Also, is it possible to change the apps in the App menu? I'd be glad if it is possible. :(

 

However, the skin looks very cool. :bow:

 

Edit: Found out where to change the apps.

I put it in the user manual. :hmmm: Click the bottom right dot and a big green circle will appear as it unlocks. Or if you want to do it manually, right click anywhere on the skin > unload skin.

Made some quick changes and version 1.0.2 is now up. :)

 

Modified the apps dock so that now there are 2 versions, vertical and horizontal modes. I forgot to make it in the last version. :leaves:

Updated FP with my newest skin. Took me only a few hours to create and complete, and I'm really happy with how it came out.

 

 

It reads the Google News RSS and displays 4 headlines on your desktop. Also, you can customize the hell out of it! :)
