Yeh, 'tis. Doesn't seem like it'll be a "normal storm". Maybe normal by Aussie standards, but we usually aren't recommended to gather 4 days worth of water, a week worth of canned food, and a warehouse of batteries for flashlights and crap :P

They've said the same for where I live in Northern Ontario. I didn't listen, because I think they're full of it. We're too far north of Toronto to be fully affected. That being said, it's been nothing but ice rain for hours..

It's apparently not a devastating storm in my area, just an inconvenience according to local news. If I lose power tonight/tomorrow I'm betting on it being up by Wednesday.

So, how you guys holding up? My lights have been flickering a bit, but that's pretty much it. I heard pretty much everywhere 2 blocks away is submerged in 5 feet of water (I live near the bay).

As far as I know, the areas in red on this rubbish map I painted on are flooded. I'm roughly where that green dot is. Some of the red areas I'm not exactly sure are underwater, but they most likely are.
