Keeping tabs on how good or horrible this server is running this forum and would appreciate if you guys could inform me of any slowdown and the like that you experience.

Sometimes and I'm not sure why if you click a link and it stalls for a second, press it again to force the link and it goes through quick.

As said I will be monitoring this and if it appears this host is complete and utter crap then we'll be moving.

Will do mate, and it's best to move servers before the site gets around and we get alot of members..

yeh replying is a bit slow, i do what you say, i just click it again as it goes faster

I may test the board on another host just to see if there's a performance difference, MySQL servers seems to be random over here.

I have set a reasonable value to test for server load, if anyone gets the busy message, let me know cause there is no way that should be appearing on a board like this, a board with 10000+ members maybe but not this, thanks.

I've noticed it's been going a bit slow but just thought it was my crappy isp. I'll keep an eye on it and make a log of all issues.

I jusy had an error message saying database error. Only for a couple of refeshes but thoght you might want to go, all working fine now. The error wasn't part of the site, it was an internet explorer error.

Alright, my host has a look over and been able to replicate the issue and informed that it should be running smooth from now on in. If you do however experience any issues post them here as I do like to keep tabs on server and database performance.

Dont now whether its my connection but the site is taking ages to load up the pages, my connection is grand with other sites but when it comes to clicking on a topic takes a good while for it to load up.

Just thought i would keep you updated Diablo.

I keep getting "Internet explorer cannot display this page" or something similar so it's a really bad server. I'll have a look round as well and pm you if i find something, are you moving the whole site as well as the forum.
