Quantum Break released in April, also on PC!

A few weeks ago a Brazillian game rating board was a bit too excited and mentioned Quantum Break would get a PC version too, where it was first always mentioned as an Xbox One exclusive. Seems they were true though, it's been announced for PC. Though the recommended specs for PC raise the bar quite a bit I think...

 

Pre-order bonuses include backwards compatible versions of Alan Wake plus two DLCs and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, as well as Quantum Break for Windows 10. Also a new live-action trailer released to celebrate the upcoming launch of Quantum Break.

Today we have a lot to be excited about. First of all, we’re proud to continue Remedy’s 20-year journey of making games for PC by announcing the Windows 10 version of our latest blockbuster game Quantum Break. It launches simultaneously with the Xbox One version on April 5^th, 2016 and is included as a bonus item for Xbox One pre-orders.

Secondly, we had the honor of hosting international media at our offices last month and gave them an extensive hands-on preview of Quantum Break. No more presentations and talk, you could finally play the game from the very beginning and experience it yourself.

 

The pre-orders and previews are available starting today. We hope you are equally excited to get your hands on Quantum Break as the game launches on April 5^th, 2016 for Xbox One and Windows 10. There’s an abundance of pre-order options to choose from, including a limited white Xbox One bundle and a SteelBook cover edition.

Oooo, and that does look mighty fine but damn, my PC isn't far above the minimum specs! :eek:

 

Don't think it will be a game I pick up new but I will definitely get it later on in the year and look forward to doing so.

This is a game that is making waves and hopefully it will live up to the hype. I find it weird the special edition console is a 500GB model, this game takes up 55GB itself!

The recommended specs are laughable :rofl2: Partly because of their sheer ridiculousness and partly because "AMD equivalent" to the i7-4790K? Good luck finding one. :cheeky:
