Adding custom cars to TDU Platinum

I hear that one can add up to ten of their own vehicles to TDU: P.

How does one do it, and where can they find cars to add?

you can replace the placeholder slots provided

 

you can find cars by googling "tdu car mods", and downloading those.

 

PS as a side note: I've heard www.patreon.com/TDUZoqqer has nice mods.

I know a site called Driver's Paradise.

Here, they have mod cars for TDU, but claim that the cars replace others such as this: a Hummer H1 Alpha replaces the Chrysler Crossfire.

I don't fully trust the site for modding TDU Platinum further.

You can replace any car by renaming the files. What mod makers usually say mean when they write "replacing" is which slot the car was built on and works without changes to the files. But you can rename the files and replace any other car (database requires more work)

I am the owner of the directory site.
And don't ask me for mods, I won't share any. But many have links, where they were / are published.

How do you download from that place? I went there and I don't see any d/l links and they have a couple of cars that that russian site I know of don't.

some cars have a link, some don't as far as I recon. For example, my mods are purged there specifically. I'm not even sure if it has download links in general tbh.

There are no download links at all, and I won't offer download links, it's just a directory.

I see. Guess that most of those are gone then. When I write TDU Addon cars or TDU mods, I only get that Russian site with addon cars/replacement cars. All the rest is articles about Platinum.
