hello. which file 7z is the latest fastest but never out of road AI? Because when I try perfect.7z, the AI hit the fence in the never ending loop in TDU 1 gold.

I only modify the xe and copy both xml file. This is the first sharp corner

this is using slower turnings n1.7z, AIConfig.xml

my finding
the number is actually stored as 4 byte float.

if in exe: B7C340, then while running: 00F7C340

Address B7C344 according to tasos007007 would be:
slow = 00 00 FF 41 = 31.875
original = 00 00 00 41 = 8
fast = 00 00 00 3F = 0.5

so fast = small number. slow = big number. with default of 8.

if you do it while TDU is running, the effect will happen instantly. for example, at the start of the race with 00F7C344 = 8, the AI start slow, then pause, change the number to 0.1 (CD CC CC 3D), then the AI will start going out of the road


I wonder how tasos007007 can find out how to do this. Salute.

B7C3C4 seems to relate to cornering speed. default = 1. higher = faster.

update, it seems the VEHICLE database_id became useless if we try any other "difficulty setting"

I think we need to tweak at least these three files:
AIConfig.xml, with all "VEHICLE database_id" deleted ,
FX.ini, setting OpponentDifficulty

exe file, variable in B7C3C8

delete AIBotPers.xml

 

AI is very rarely gone off track. the exception is Chrysler ME Four-Twelve.

more progress, the key is to delete all car specific setting and just play around with opponent difficulty and the one in exe file. Manage to force AI to lap tour of the island in 41 minutes.

how many values you put for the OpponentDifficulty ? and can you show what value in the line B7C3C8 would be ?

It turn out that we can not just use the exe. We need a combination of  content from aibots and aiconfig.  

try this. fast car  mostly fine with difficulty = 1.8

work for hardcore mode too. but try to win the never ending loop with bugatti veyron and you will notice that hardcore mode is the arcade version of TDU, its too broken and too unrealistic.
