Wheres Ford Island and when can I unlock it?

Get to PRo or expert. Level, and go to the edge of the top of the map, and theres like the hills and then like you see an island in the water, drive up that hill and theres a E in just floating

drive into it going atleast like 30-40.

That's is not Ford Island ;) Ford Island is somewhere in the Harbour Area :)

The island you mean is "The Secret Island"

When your on the map, look at the Aston Martin/British Independents garage (Independents) is best, turn right as you exit the British garage and continue until you see traffic lights and a sharp turning to the right, go on it and just follow it and you'll find a few roads horizontally and go across right to the end where another road is there, turn left and you'll see a turning to a right and a bridge, go on the bridge and it takes a while but then your there. :)

its not really all that straight. it does bend, but its a smooth bend. but if someone were to mark out 440yds (two ppl to drag, one to lined up on the side 440yds away) you would have your dragstrip.im told 440yds is a 1/4 mile dragstrip

You need to drive a certain amout of miles, THEN you can go to FOrd Island

My memory fails me of when you get access to the Ford island.

 

Where is it? Look at the map and the harbor area in the south-west of the Hawaii island, then there's an island in the middle of the harbor and a long bridge to the island, THAT's the Ford island.

 

Ford island is a great place. I enjoy driving there more than I do enjoy driving at the Oahu raceway.

 

Update:

Are there any proper race facilities available?

Yes, once you've reached rank 'pro' you unlock 'ford island racetrack' which is more like a road than a track, then when you rank up to 'champion' you unlock 'oahu raceway' a fully fledged racetrack.

And look at this map and look at G-7! That's the island.
