Closest PC game to GT series?

For right or wrong, the few times I've had a go on Gran Tourismo games on the PS2 I've had a whale of a time.

 

Is there anything remotely close to them on the PC? TDU seems the closest so far, which I also love, but anything else?

Hmm as for your question let's see, I don't think there really is anything that has as varied a selection as GT but some good PC sims are rFactor (with a huge modding community), LFS (duh!) and if you can find it there was a game out at the same time as GT4 that had you racing supercars across europe but I can't remember the name of it. I'm sure others will be able to point you to more options though.

Hehe thanks :) Yup the biscuits did the trick.. that and registration finally worked (I think I tried to join about a year ago as well :oook: )

Yeah there are lots of great sims on the PC - what was nice about GT was that it wasn't very hardcore sim like - rather it was easily enjoyable on just a gamepad :)

Yes and yes although it's not really hard racing it's more for exotic cars and has a great modding community ;)
