well I wouldn't have spent my hard earned cash on a new jap car if I didn't like them ... i prefer to call myself a car fanatic rather than a carsnob of any type ... I can name cars I like from most places ... states, euro and jap

 

oh and I really like S2000s and R32s too ... the S2000 was second choice if I hated driving the Alfa

The original MR2's are cheap but hell of a lot of fun nowadays. Always loved that TR7 shape crossed with Japanese madness.

yeah the MkI MR2 was great ... it had adjustable suspension so you could set it up ... and was easy to control with the rear end very predictable ... the most fun I've ever had in a 1.6 powered car!

I don't think anyone would call you a eurosnob for that, i class eurosnobs as people who love european cars and think they own every other car in the world and think all other cars are useless. Not just a person with a love for european cars. I love european cars too but i'm not a eurosnob :p.

When you see a japanese car you all think, Oh another ricer! (Error sound) WRONG! Ricer's are 4 cylinder cars with mahooosive body kits and have Catback systems, and CAI installed thinking that ooooh, i has cool car! And this just doesn't apply to Japanese cars! I read Max Power magazine, those Europeans rice Peugoet 106's and make them really ugly! You see a Skyline, Supra, or even S15 isn't a Ricer because they're quick and fast.

 

Now regarding the supercar stuff. So what if Japanese Car makers don't make mahooosive engines. So what, does that make a supercar? NO! It's reputation! Pick yourselves up a book. Yeah there's a book called Supercars and the Skyline and EVO are in in! Yeah Wouldn't your head turn if you saw a Skyline? I would! Cause they're the sex!

Hint: stay off the booze... The fact is, getting a skyline or an impreza or supra, they are just SPORTSCARS if anything, i remember when the skyline was supposed to be a coupe. Most people tune them, besides, who would like driving a car that farts and sneezes when you accelerate and change gears?
