Why is vehicle pack 1 1GB in size?

 

I wish they would put 2 versions online, one for those who have the SC addon, and those who don't.

 

I'm not getting it simply because I don't have HDD space to waste on crap like that.

Each car is very very high poly 100,000 polys you also got to remember that it would include its own bodykits and custom headlights etc

It is 1.4gb when you start dl'ing, but because its all the same date as in the premium pack it doesn't take long... about a second for me. I think it might be possible to dl the vehicle packs without purchasing the SC map update. So R* have just packaged everything in one file for their ease, but each DLC only unlocks a part of it. I guess that's why we can deliver the Evo X and DB9 before now :)
